  1. So the rig is majorily WiP and will likely do a white interior to go with it. Might color match the engine to the interior as well. (Still in debating about it.) The trailer is my ugly as Sin... old school car hauler left to rust, but still servicable. These are my first 2 builds into big rigs. I now have 9-10 rigs and 3 more trailers for cars.
  2. Welcome! And hey may try and slip in a few new ones here and there
  3. Following, can't wait for WiP stuff.
  4. Welcome! Good folks here, and share you work!!
  5. Nice! I never served, but I really enjoy the Air Force badging and the support they give to the rest of the branches and the world.
  6. That's fair. On my 53 I had to mask it 5 times to get it decent enough to paint and then after I saw some issues, but it looks good from a distance.
  7. Are you going to two-tone it?
  8. I was a bit wobbly on the interior, but I know as I do more I will get better. Thanks sir!

  12. I got this a bit a go off of Ebay, and the seller packed it great, and the only thing missing was the glass, but I have a truck I am going to take the glass from for it. I have a few more of this kit favorited so when things settle again, I will grab another. I have bought other items off Ebay, and the sellers were dead on descriptions everything, so knock on wood atm, I have had great luck.
  13. Great colors!! Clean work sir!
  14. Here is part of the redo on my office. Yes there is a few things going on. I will do another post once I get the rest of the office organized. I have one new big mat, and the small used mat is in front of the booth. Sooo many great build work areas!! I need to get me a paint can storage unit to get them off my desk, and put the other bits and bobs I use in the paint storage area. I have more spray pain off to the right in various cubbies on my computer desk.
  15. Yes it is the Monogram kit!
  16. I was scrolling by this before I read the description and was like ... hey an early model Chapparal!
  17. Welcome! Good folks here!
  18. I will do a double check on the connections to the computer, and I can add more grounds to the truck, I have quite a few new ones. The one for the tank I scraped it to nice shiny metal and reconnected it. No accidents for my truck at all. Thanks for another idea!
  19. Thinking I got the fuel issue with my truck fixed and still having the fuel pump shut off.... New pump, new tank, new sending unit, new fuel pump relay, new ignition control module, new plug wire, new coil, new cap, new rotor, and new fuel filter. About ready to bypass the computer control and put it on a switch to where I can control on and off. (1990 Chevy Silverado) But hey ... when it does run, it runs great! And not getting a large coffee this morning for myself lol.
  20. Awesome! And let me guess, your gonna fix up one day? So it's not for sale? Wait, come on and donate to it a young kid with big dreams? What, you want how much for that hunk of junk??? That's the reactions that your work gave me! Your weathering work is spot on, love the little bits and bobs on the tarp!!
  21. Great job! Are you going to do Army or Air Force badging? To me personally I am a sucker for the Air Force badging.
  22. Dude... this is insane!! Your work is great!!
  23. I will grab the brand on it, but I did get it at Hobby Lobby if that helps.
  24. I will have to dig in my paint to find the body color, but the roof is Gunmetal by Tamiya, and IRC the body is Testors Turquoise.
