Yeah, she's taken two baths so far.

So I am in the middle of a few orders from Japan, and I have 1 maybe 2 that is gonna get hit with the tarrif junk.... so im apprehensive on anymore orders to my shops in Japan I have bought from. (Keeping in mind, I am buy via Amazon, so not sure if I will have to deal with the tarrif junk) So if things go that tariff way, I will have to buy a few of the rarer import kits local and eat a higher cost vs the lower cost I am paying now. I hope you can find that kit at a great price though!

Started scrubbing off the old paint so I can reshoot it in a color the wife will like better. I figure another day in the alcohol bath and should be pretty easy to finish them up. Then a nice Dawn bath, and air dry and reprep the parts for another go.

My daughter got me this: She knows I enjoy One Piece, and it's like Magic the Gathering from what I have figured out so far. I know nothing of that so for me it's likely to become a wall hanging.

In my front yard I have a few Ruby throated Hummingbirds playing on the different feeders I have out for them. They were late this year, usually we see them in April, but they finally showed up, and it's been nice.

Thanks! I am going with the stock suspension on all 4 corners, trying to keep with a sleeper look. Thanks, and it's slow going due to bench time. Working on 3 other kits at the same time while I work on it. Gives me the ability to think things through when I run into a wall.

Tonight I got some bench time, had to massage the body some more, but I got things in. I am gonna do some detail paint on the engine on the exhaust and add some highlights on the turbo's. I still have to mount the engine mounts on the frame as well. Did some test look with the grill, and I even added openings behind the grill for the turbo's to pull air in. I did some modifying on the frame and radiator as well. I have some flexible radiator hose I will snake to the radiator from the engine. This ole gal is gonna be pretty decent I am thinking. I do regret not getting some coil packs for the engine, maybe on the next TT I build. I have started puttering with tires/wheels as well. I am keeping the body kinda to the true mid 70's to 80's hot rod look but with a nasty beast under the hood.

Got some work done on the 47, will be posting over there. And the 57 went into a 90proof rubbing alcohol bath. Will grab a couple stiff brushes to give it a clean up tomorrow. (I have a lid on the bath for it too.) I need to grab a glass container to dump into after I am done with the soak.
