This was a build for the wife, once she gets a spot cleared in either her workshop or sewing room, it will go in there. I kit bashed 2 kits to pull this off. She picked all the paint colors, minus engine color, had to go with "ford" blue (I didn't have a blue that matched but it is blue so it's "ford" blue) I will build another of this as it's a fun kit, and had very little flash and the parts fit like they should.

This was another fun kit. I didn't take any engine bay pics but it's a throwback to the weekend I-6 daul carb racer, yet good enough to drive daily. I have been a sucker for the 2 tone paint of the 50's and this was my first go. I learned a lot with this. On all 3 of my posts, the start to finish build time was roughly 8 years. Life has a way....

My 72 Cutlass I built using the Pace Car Convertible Kit. This was my first shot at using plug wires and such. Body and Convertible top is paint by Tamiya, and interiour as well, with me doing some brush work using acrylic's. I bashed 3 kits to pull this off. I had times I felt overwhelmed with it. I have a few mistakes but nothing glaring with it.

So far so good! The Green/Black set up looks great! Are you gonna paint the wheels to match the body or go with a polished aluminum look or chrome?

I got the new table for my office bought and will soon set up the paint booth and paint racks. Still have to get good lighting on the work area. No actual kit work but got the table bought and will be doing office work next week.

What color is that purple? I love it! Fantastic work!

That was great work dude! The wheels and tires reminded me of a demo car I did when I was 16 lol. I was the pit guy and paint guy. I was horrid with the rattle can, and you nailed it!

That is flat wicked! Vettes from 53 to mid 90's are one of my favorites to build, and seeing this, gives me a couple ideas for a couple of the 60's I have in my stash.

I have this in my stash, and this is a great build!! I like the two tone instead of a solid color for the cab and bed.

That is great!! The Cragars, the patina on the paint... and the fact you have a v8 in the engine bay makes such a sweet little sleeper! I was expecting to find the I-4. That is fantastic!!

That is sooooo... just mind blowing! Phenomanel work!! I am curious how long was the build from planning to final picture.

This build is stupidly amazing!!! I built this plane as my very first kit, and I was hooked on modeling. It was a glue bomb, and I loved it so much. I have 4 in my stash, and after seeing your build, I have some great ideas!! All the input here from everyone was great!

Welcome and I get the .. oh hey just one, then just two more and hey I like this kit, need 1-2 for the stash... But each stash kit is a kit we will enjoy.

I have a kit I would love for them to repop and it's the monster truck I posted, I paid 92 for that from Ebay, and currently watching another 3. This is one kit where my brain says.... buy as long as you don't go over 150 for the kit. Otherwise, I am like you, look for sales, and buy at that time.

Time for me to hit Ollie's up again!! One of my favorite places to hit up for good priced kits. The last thing I got was a week ago, and it was this: The wife and I are going to a little town in MO that does quilting and I saw they had a few shops there so going to try and grab another 3-5 kits while there.
