  1. To moderator, why do my posts need to be approved? Just asking.
  2. What!!!!!! The man that seemed to be stuck in the 30's built something from the later half of the century. What's next? Something from the 80's or newer? Anyhow, looks fantastic. Love the color combination. Everything screams restomod. As a lover of Camino's they are great. Gary
  3. I sold 99% of my collection a few years ago. I kept the few that I knew I was going to build. But just like any addiction something else took its place. For me it was Lego. With the MOC community it was easy to fall down that rabbit hole. Just can't get building things out of my blood. Gary
  4. Love the 2-tone paint. From the outside it looks very mature but the wires and the stick and third pedal makes it a hot rod in disguise. Very well done.
  5. built in true rat rod style. Not a fan of the rat rod but I'm true fan of something that is truly different. good job.
  6. A Minnesota staple, tator-tot hotdish. Yes up here in the cold and white north it's hotdish not casserole.
  7. Looks like a few full sizes garages of guys that I know. But they suffer from a disease that is way to expensive for me to get.
  8. OMG did that turn out to be a great result in a short time. That thing looks like it traveled thru time from the early '60's. It has the look of a farmer's go to town truck but with a bit of hot rod mixed in. I know turbo's were not all that common in the '60's . Still looks fun.
  9. While I'm a flathead lover but my two cents worth, you almost have to go with the stovebolt in order to stay with the "something different" theme. Although a turbo'ed Flattie would be cool.
  10. This the way both full sized hot rods and models happened. Before 3d printing and the aftermarket. You built kits and used the spares for something different. Or that's what I did.
  11. this will be interesting. I see a mid to late '30's frame and a few related bits. will watch to see where this goes.
  12. thank you all

    1/16 scale

I'm looking for a person who can supply me with 1/16 Peterbilt/Kenworth wheels and tires. I'm looking at least 100 tires and the same number of wheels. Equal amounts front and rear. Or maybe a file to print. Thank you for any help. Gary
  16. Seems like every small town I drive through has at least one version of this somewhere. thank you for capturing small town America.
  17. Maybe a '57 Fairlane with a wiper blade in use because of the rain?
  18. great finished unit. Had several in collection but they are gone. They always looked like they were going to tip over on their nose. The Ford C-600 was the same to me.
  19. Great show truck for back in the day. Love the wide whites. The wire drivers would not have much of a chance with the torque from that monster. Love the paint scheme and the chrome sleeper.
  20. IMHO the kits roof is to flat. The Ghostbuster's was the same way. not anything looking like either example the real thing pictured. Maybe back in the day they could have ordered either way. They just don't look right to me.
  21. I don't know if this goes here or not. If not please move to the right place. As I am cleaning up my stash I found the title kit. I bought for my son but he had no interest in models. I know ,I'm a failure, but that is good news for you. This kit is here for the taking, first come first serve. It is free, all you need to do is pay for shipping .As you see the box is a little rough but it is all there.
  22. got it yesterday. must have gotten missplaced, it's here and that's what matters.
  23. Not yet. Starting to get worried. I seem to be missing out of something great.
  24. I have a link to a kit that I have for sale on Ebay for those who are interested. It is the Peerless logging trailer. The item number is 20023154458. Also thank you to those that gave me advice on sell the kits. The box lead was great but I have a connection with a large shipping company and get a great deal from them. Can't say who or no more deal. Gary
