  1. I have a link to a kit that I have for sale on Ebay for those who are interested. It is the Peerless logging trailer. The item number is 20023154458. Also thank you to those that gave me advice on sell the kits. The box lead was great but I have a connection with a large shipping company and get a great deal from them. Can't say who or no more deal. Gary
  2. She started her last tour here in St. Paul. She had a lot of energy and a very good voice for someone in her early 70's. Going to missed by a lot of us who were fans for decades.
  3. I'm updating the list of the kits that I have and should be done in a few days. Is anyone else interested in the updated version or even the old list. It will be a pdf so I will need your email. I will give everyone here a shot before I continue on Ebay.
  4. Thank you all of your words of encouragement. Carl, the box size you used is the same one I have and will handle about 90% of what I have. My son worked one of the biggest box suppliers in the country and I got a very good deal on them when i started this journey Two years ago. That's how long I've been holding out. With number of kits I have I'll get the wording correct very fast. I'm still updating the model list. Just found a couple of boxes with more in them. Geuss I wasn't as ready as I thought.
  5. I was just fine until they started reissuing the kits that I built in my youth. Also the kits I could not get when the children were growing up. Something about feeding them(lol). So they go.
  6. Thank you for all of your comments. The listing for the semi was a general one that I wrote to use with all my listings, so I didn't catch about the shipping. It will be revised. As for Facebook. Started to use it and got into a bad experience on there and will not go back. I didn't start this journey to make a lot of money. It is to remove from my house something that stares at me everyday only to remind me I can't do this anymore. Thank you for the links to my listings, I will try to do better in the future listings. Gary
  7. I have two on ebay now. Teh Kenworth K-100 Aerodyne and the Ford Interceptor Police car. I would post a link but i don't know how, sorry.
  8. Do to my worsening eyesight it is time to let them go. Because we are not allowed to sell here, I'm here to tell anyone who want to know that I'll be selling my collection over the next months on Ebay. They will be sold under the user name of biggbadddogg. It has been a lifelong hobby and I will miss it very much. Good luck if you chose to buy and I thank all of you for your ideas that I have used over the years and have help my builds very much. Gary
  9. Nice and neat. Driver would be proud of this rig.
  10. That is one monster of a tow unit. Not for city work.
  11. got mine on Friday.
  12. The first wagon I can remember is the 1959 Desoto that my dad had. It was tu-tone green. I personnal owned a 1981 Chevy Malibu and a 1982 Cutlas Cieara.
  13. Mine is about 200. they range in scale from 1/8th to 1/24-25th. Oldest bought about 40 years and the newest about six months. Everything from big rigs to classics to drag. In the beginning process of getting ris of anything under 1/16th due to vision issues. After that I should be down to about 40.
  14. I know it's not that exciting as everything here, but I managed to get the work bench clear of all non-modeling "stuff". I can actually see the surface and the 2 or 3 stalled project in behind the everything that was there. Quite proud of myself. How long it stays this way is another thing.
  15. Got mine from the buried in snowbank mailbox today.
  16. That seat would scare the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of the kids. You would not have to swing your arm wildly, Just turn around and give the look.
  17. While the newer models are nice, but IMHO they look like 5-door hatchbacks. "My" definition of a wagon is something large and in your face. I feel anything from the late 50's to early 80's fits the bill. It has to be a mid-line car maker. Pinto and Vega are cute but not for the family of five to seven people. My personal favorite for many years was the 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. Not the ranch wagon, the faux wood panels turn me off. Also the same year Chevrolet Impala. But a few years ago they were trumped down the list by 1957 Buick. Everyone has a personal favorite and those are mine.
  18. there is someone out there that knows Lincolns came other colors than black. That will stand out on the table.
  19. In the '70's you saw this unit in every service station in America
  20. looks really cool. I love any long roof. this is an interesting mix, looks like someone add a Vega camback to a shelby body. did a good job marrying the two. great what-if.
  21. Well is very deep subject for shallow minds.
  22. Watch the video on Youtube called keeping farts funny. if you like that kind of humor, it will make your day not so bad.
  23. The only King book that scared me was IT. most recent movie did the same thing.
  24. Staircase are had to navigate for young children and puppies.
