  1. Maxx, What color are you looking for? PM me, and we can work out something. Jameston
  2. I have a product that is perfect for that insulation. PM me your address, and I'll get you a good sized piece shipped out. Jameston Scalefinishes.com
  3. What colors of mine (Scalefinishes) did you have? I would be happy to help out with replacing some of your stolen paints.
  4. Okay, just get me your address and I'll get those out this afternoon.

  5. Exceptional! I love those old T55s, and the Tamiya kit is a good one.
  6. I got this kit in 1997, and it got pushed to the back of my closet. I found it just before Christmas, and decided to get it built. It's a Hasegawa US-3A. The kit went together really nice, and there were no issues anywhere. The decals are old and have turned a little yellow, but it still turned out nice. The paints are Scalefinishes FS16440 Gloss Gull Gray, FS17875 Gloss Insignia White, and FS33613 Radome tan. A fun kit for a break from the cars I usually build. 7. You might try Modeltruckin.com and see if they have the stripes.
  8. I built this kit for a good friend who LOVES Iron man. It's a great kit, but all the paint masking was a bit tedious. It did turn out good. The colors are House Of Kolors BC12 Zenith Gold with HOK KK11 Apple Red. All the paint has a semi gloss sheen, it's meant to replicate the suit used in the movie. They were not really shinny to keep reflections from lighting, productions equipment, and off camera scenery from being reflected in the suit. 9. I bought this car because I needed the back seat for another project. The flames are neon yellow, orange, and red over Arctic white. The rest of the car is Ford RD Teal. Tires and wheels are from the '69 nova kit. The rear axle was shortened about 1/8 if an inch, and is mounted on a scratch built set of ladder bars and coil over shocks. My dad says he knew a guy when they were younger who put a 389 Pontiac in a '57. I tried it on this kit, and it fit surprisingly well. The radiator is scratch built so it sits in front of the core support. The motor and transmission mounts were also scratch built. The exhaust is from the kit, but was modified to fit. You can see the build here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35136 Now for some pictures. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Thanks for looking, Jameston
  10. I just seen this thread, my apologies for coming in so late. That is a screaming good deal for those colors. I asked about the Spectraflame paints at my paint store, and was quoted (sitting down?) $500 for a quart of antifreeze green. Then they wanted almost as much for the silver base that you use under it. And they will not sell those colors in anything less than a quart. Thank you for posting the link, this is great. Jameston
  11. Thank you george, my dad says he knew a guy when he was young who had put a 389 in a '57. I do have the interior finished up, and soon the entire car will be finished. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Thanks for looking.
  12. Thanks for the replies. I got the chassis done, here is an update. The exhaust is from the kit, but cut up for this application. Hosted on Fotki The stock '57 rear end with scratch built ladderbar and coilovers. Hosted on Fotki The engine is the 389 out of the Revell '66 GTO Hosted on Fotki
  13. How many are you looking for? I have a bunch of plastic 1oz bottles that will hold paint no problem. Jameston
  14. I knew this was the place to ask. That is exactly what I want, Thank you.
  15. I'm looking for information on who makes the best 32 ford roadster. It has to be a roadster, but that's about the only "requirement" for my build. I would like it to be fenderless, but that's not really important. Thanks in advance, Jameston
  16. I got this kit because I needed the back seat out of it. The paint is actually the third paint job on the car, but my first attempt at flames. I think it looks like something built in the mid eighties. Hosted on Fotki Thanks for looking.
  17. Dave, Welcome. It's good to see someone else from the beehive state.
  18. I'm not sure these are %100 what you want, but they do look nice. http://www.detailmaster.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=detailmaster&Category_Code=RS The 2bbls are listed about 2/3rd the way down on that page. I hope this helps, Jameston
  19. Len, Yes, in the FAQ section of his website, Jerry mentions that he uses an Alps MD5500 printer.
  20. My quick suggestion for decals is Jerry Reeter, who goes by Phoneguy here on the forum, and runs modeltruckin.com. He does a lot of decals for semi trucks, but he would be my first pick for any custom decals. I have a few sets of his truck decals, and they are amazing. Just my 2cents, Jameston
  21. Len, You're right. Luxo is the same color, GM loves to rename paints when they spray them on the Corvette, it's all in the OEM code. I don't know why I didn't catch that in your post. Jameston
