  1. That one is sure to be a hit with the fellows over at the Coffin Corner. I've seen it go for more than a benjamin on ePay.
  2. I started a thread on them, look here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=94566 I have a couple sets and just ordered more. I really like them, though are are very thin and can break if youre not careful. They are more sturdy after attached to the body. The link I posted on that thread is to kits that also have wheels and stretchwall tires. This set is very nice, it has 4 different sets of flares: http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ11124/Aut
  3. That one posted from Mama's Family is Beverly Archer. How about this cutie?
  4. Thats a great idea for tires Bob. I've been using different sized screwdriver handles and jamming them inside the tires. I like your way better
  5. I've got a set on the way!
  6. I like the severely tacky nature of him in this movie.
  7. Know what a 2-bagger is? Thats when she's so ugly you wear a bag too, in case hers breaks.
  8. Those wheels and tires with that nice rework you did on the roof make all the difference. I like it.
  9. Here's Dennis Lacy's not so fruity T from TRaK.
  10. Nice job on that drum kit. Ya know, I think I like those "too big" decals.
  11. I'm not sold on it's autopilot feature, but it should work great for drunk drivers. "But, Musk said, if you fall asleep while driving, the car should be able to get you home safely".
  12. Someone here was looking for these awhile back. Tokyo Hobby has listed 4 different sets of them tonite. Here's a link to them. $21 shipped to USA isnt cheap, but its about the going price for something hard to find like these. http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_ssn=tokyo-hobby&hash=item5b0653f9e5&item=390948190693&pt=Model_Kit_US&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xaoshima+racing+fender%27.TRS0&_nkw=aoshima+racing+fender%27&_sacat=0
  13. Slackers-schmackers. I have my ( artificial ) christmas tree up already.....Oh wait, I didn't take it down last year.
  14. I cant imagine the force it took to lift that front loader off the ground.
  15. These arent model A's, were they what you were referring to?
  16. So youre the one that built that first one, Don. I've got that pic saved, I really dig it!
  17. That's a lot O' vinyl Jesse!
  18. I've got a handful of those 34 snap kits too. These are the only ones out of the box.
  19. I've got a 1979/80 vintage Technics system with Klipsch speakers, all free from a friend. A turntable and cassette deck came too, they're just not in the pic. Later the g/f donated a pair of sansui speakers. I live in a 1300 sq ft home, and this things too loud!
  20. I like the profile of the new chop!
  21. That tool is a makeshift pinion gear press, not sure exactly what motor it was made for. For can type motors like the orange one in that sidewinder, they look like this:
  22. Everything went smooth on my order, then it got cancelled. I had to contact ME hobbies and they told me it was out of stock with no idea when restock would happen.
  23. Well, when one identifies himself as an addict, a dozen or so is not quite enough! Besides, there are so many different variations you can build, plus after awhile there gets to be a sort of assembly line quality to it. I can assume a sort of zen state when building a kit Ive done a dozen times. Intoxicating zen-ness.
  24. The only things wrong with the snap kit are the 1 piece chrome headlights, and the grille is solid. The full detail kit has chrome headlight bezels and clear lenses and the grille is see-through. Heres the snap kit:
