I'm with bill and Ron on those AMT 32 fords. Ive collected over a dozen vintage unbuilt kits, yet I just cant help but buy more.
A few of mine:
And a couple rescues from ebay:
Police cop Bob Hauk calls Kurt Russell "Plisskin" the whole movie, and each time he replies "Call me Snake" At the end of the movie, Hauk calls him "Snake" which symbolizes some sort of comraderie or acceptance. He then replies in a contentious manner "The name's Plisskin"
One of those you-had-to-be-there things. Youre not that much younger than me, Im surprised you never saw the movie.
This must be specific to shipping from US to other countries. I recently got a kit from Japan via ebay, and shipping was $9.80. There were no additional payments for shipping.
Well I thought I'd gamble a bit and ordered a can. $4.25 plus $2.69 to ship to CA. I'll let you know what happens. In my town, a can of Krylon, if you can find it, is $12. The parts store will order Plastikote..for $18 a can, prepaid.
I thought he had dropped a deuce by how he was walking until I replayed and saw his legs. Thats some scary stuff.
I was at Baylands when that primer 55 crashed, Greg. I was on the pit side near the lights and really did think he was dead. There was a very eery silence after the car stopped rolling.
Go out to the parking lot
And you get in your car and you drive real far
And you drive all night and then you see a light
And it comes right down and lands on the ground
And out comes a man from Mars
And you try to run but he's got a gun
And he shoots you dead and he eats your head
Outstanding! I really love this, I dig the style and your execution is great. I'd sure like to have this kit, but I cant wrap my mind around the price. Yet...
Where I live there is a distinct lack of assimilation. What irks me is that english is now a second language. There is a strip mall a half mile from my home that doesnt even have any signs written in english.
Add the custom hubcaps from the original 34 ford pickup, the 40 Ford coupe, the 49 Merc, 50 Ford convertible, hubcaps and mags from the first issue 57 Chevy, the mags from the original 49 ford coupe, and the mags from the 64 F-85 convertible.
I have a JoHan Olds F85 wagon in a real ugly green, the 63 Fury in that dark green already mentioned, and just saw a JoHan Rambler American in the same dark green.
