  1. Brilliant!
  2. Thank you Art,your explanation clarified everything except it looks like the upper radiator hose attaches directly above the carb.
  3. Thanks Doug, the areas in question involve parts 11 12 13 which I believe to be the carb and intake but then where does the cooling system go?what I want to do is seperate carbs for each port or fuel injection stacks.do the exhaust ports have only two ports or three or four on each side? I guess the part 13 is my biggest head scratcher I can't figure it out.
  4. I have been searching for awhile and can't seem to find a good photo of the top of the 1928 lincoln flathead .I found some very nice photos of every angle except the top valley pan area I can't figure out where the intake is and where the cooling goes and also the exhaust . I want to use this engine on my tijuana taxi slightly modified but I am having trouble guessing, I would like it to be within in the realm of feasible.Your help is appreciated.
  5. I like it too!
  6. I like it nice consistent detailing throughout. great job .

    Garage Dio

I am probably the only one that noticed the brick work is excellent ,the plumbing looks great ,the beams and rafters are spot on over all a very realistic diorama I look forward to seeing this progress and please keep the how tos coming it is always cool to see how you approach these different aspects. and the weathering is top notch.
  10. That is pretty cool lookin'. I like the straight on front shot.
  11. I like it,nice job adding the debris anf refuse to the inside of the car.
  12. I always loved that one!
  13. excellent working features .I appreciate you showing how you did these . It really helps me visualize how to go about adding similar features on my models which tends to be a sticking point. I love your take on this classic body I hope mine turns out half as nice! keep it up
  14. Thank you ,I just wish I could figure the rear door out I think it might drop down for use as a ramp but I haven't quite decided yet.
  15. I bet shirt buttons could work .
  16. You should get 6.
  17. Thanks Tom,I have had enough of that windshield it is the very reason I needed two other kits. now I am just going to concentrate on making this look good as is.I do agree that the windsheild is a little short and funny lookin I will just have to make a sows ear out of it. go ahead and post your truck here so someone else attempting a similar project can see the difference.
  18. Nice work.what did you do in the back it looks like the seat configuration is a little different.
  19. I think what you put inside the heat shrink just needs to have the right shape I used the airplane wheels because I knew I had them and I knew they would be the right shape.besides you don't need landing gear just hang it from your ceiling . try fan belt pulleys or head light bezels baby moon caps . incidently I don't build planes at all they just kind of gathered in the old parts bin.
  20. starting with some heat shrink and some airplane wheels I found some that matched and were pretty close to the size I needed I placed the wheels into the tubing added some heat and voila Be careful with the heat if you are using plastic inside the blob in front of the axle is a case of to much heat there are dozens of ways to attach these to your suspension I haven't finished my version yet but it will basically be some slightly larger circles on top and bottom attached directly to the axle and the frame maybe an additional bracket for more height and some fittings for the air . Hope you can use this. Please post pics of your version should you use or improve this idea .
  21. I can't wait either. I have been hoping for these to come back but they never seem to take off.
  22. Yes the keeping doors open is the sticking point right now I have everything else planned out but I can't seem to figure out a good way to keep the doors in an open position.

  24. Thank you, this is the aurora/monogram xke the frame is depicted just as you describe. and the fenders do have a little flare to them I used the wheel flares from the monogram cobra except the fronts are in the back and vice versa .I will get better pics when I update. "it's the camera" And I would have no qualms putting a Hemi in a real jag either.
