  1. This is a clever idea. At first I thought why wouldn't you just drill them out and replace but then I thought about more and if the price point is accurate this could be very useful for kits with hidden headlights (chargers , camaros, rivieras, ) . It also helps with parking lights and turn signals. take it a step further and do the rear bumpers . In short I think it's a brilliant idea. I see a lot of potential.
  2. I ordered mine as soon as I saw they were ready. It has already shipped . I didn't have any problems .
  3. You win best alternative use of an oil pan . I look forward to seeing this in paint .
  4. Nice build. That's the great thing about chargers they can stand up to abuse other cars just can't.
  5. This is turning out great . I like the "sprue glue" but I find it can sometimes melt and warp, while not as easy to sand but very very strong acrylic nail filler (nail polish section )works well especially when added strength is needed. Just a suggestion in case you need it or anyone else inspired by this kind of build.
  6. Talk about excellent customer service or a model with a heckuva never say die attitude.
  7. That's a new one on me. Thanks for including it .now I have another grail kit to search for.does anyone know anything about mk modelle ? All I could ascertain was they also made an 1898 Wartburg.they also made a dkw motorcycle .

  9. This turned out great ! Pat this is a modified kit , but you can get a resin Baja from replica miniatures of Maryland .
  10. If it holds sentimental value because your dad built it I think you should just reassemble it. I'm sure someone could provide a copy of the instructions if needed.
  11. Do you have any photos? there are many different adhesives out there , sometimes 2 part epoxy will do the trick . there is also a glue specifically for vinyl (I use it whenever the plastic is soft or squishy).you could also try scuffing the mating surfaces.
  12. I'm pretty sure it's just a photoshop job but it is still on my to do list .
  13. Did it get mentioned that the regular version doesn't have decals ?
