  1. The newer AMT 57 check also came as a street machine only. which if you're building stock it doesn't have those parts in it.
  2. Pics or it didn't happen .
  3. I would buy them for sure. Every once in a while the airfix 1/24 motorcycles would show up in the local hobby stores I bought them whenever I saw them.
  4. Check out the tips section there's a lengthy thread covering this subject .soaked ng your parts in super clean or similar degreaser removes most paint, easyoff oven cleaner does also .please use gloves and caution when using Any paint strippers . you can't just paint over a bad paint job it will show.
  5. Ok , but I'm going to leave the price sticker on it. Stay tuned.
  6. I scored the ertl international A 4270 still sealed .
  7. you could also check out some of the 3d printing companies like Shapeways . some items are to pricy but some are inline with resin parts.
  8. I found some 4"X4" foil candy wrappers at Michaels in the cake/candy making isle 50 sheets for $3 and some change . Its definitely thinner than regular kitchen foil . I haven't tried it out yet but I will .
  9. Thanks for the info , I believe it is the original issue I'll post a pic or two when I find the camera cable . I haven't researched this kit much yet but there wasn't a whole lot to be seen with the usual google search real or model . I know I won't be building it for awhile so I don't need to remove the shrink wrap but I sure want too.
  10. When was this last issued ? I found one today with shrink wrap still on it . just looking for some history on the kit .
  11. I received mine today , it looks awesome !
  12. This is a clever idea. At first I thought why wouldn't you just drill them out and replace but then I thought about more and if the price point is accurate this could be very useful for kits with hidden headlights (chargers , camaros, rivieras, ) . It also helps with parking lights and turn signals. take it a step further and do the rear bumpers . In short I think it's a brilliant idea. I see a lot of potential.
  13. Awesome job. I love the futurliner .
  14. I ordered mine as soon as I saw they were ready. It has already shipped . I didn't have any problems .
  15. You win best alternative use of an oil pan . I look forward to seeing this in paint .
  16. Nice build. That's the great thing about chargers they can stand up to abuse other cars just can't.
  17. Lookin good! Can't wait for more.
  18. This is turning out great . I like the "sprue glue" but I find it can sometimes melt and warp, while not as easy to sand but very very strong acrylic nail filler (nail polish section )works well especially when added strength is needed. Just a suggestion in case you need it or anyone else inspired by this kind of build.
  19. Nicely done. You captured the feel very well.
  20. Talk about excellent customer service or a model with a heckuva never say die attitude.
  21. That's a new one on me. Thanks for including it .now I have another grail kit to search for.does anyone know anything about mk modelle ? All I could ascertain was they also made an 1898 Wartburg.they also made a dkw motorcycle .
  22. Nice clean build . I like it a lot!
  23. This turned out great ! Pat this is a modified kit , but you can get a resin Baja from replica miniatures of Maryland .
