very nice build. -
Oh we are here and have been for many years... I have been building for over 40 years and and only pro since 96 when we started the Association. I myself have not heard of 90% of the clubs one here to tell you the truth but that don't mean they don't exist. We are a private Association with over a few hundred Members world wide and We run our private forum with all the members Who are real people. So reguardless of what some people say where are here and we are here to stay. You will be surprised who is a member. Just type in Model Car Builders Association...

Make sure the car is primered, then add the silver or gold base heat up the can of candy in some hot water from the tap for about 5 min then shake for about a min, this will make the paint more thinner and add pressure and will lay much smoother, Cold paint goes on to thick and does not lay smooth. you need to lay light coats from at least 14' away while shaking the can with a side to side motion. You will be waisting more paint this way but the final prouduct will be flawless.

I have an Iwata Eclipse for my mural and fine detail, Tamiya HG for touchup's and the work horse and best one is my GREX GCKO1 for all the main paint and clearing.

You can try something like these. http://cgi.ebay.com/Garage-Figurines-4-1-1...%3A1%7C294%3A50 or these from fujimi http://www.internethobbies.com/fuj124scalme7.html go to horbor frieght and get yourself a heat gun. then you can just add some heat to the figure and make it pose the way you want. once you got the right pose run some cold water over to make it stay the way you like. -
model figure questions

# 1. Never shoot a person and put him in the trunk. It get's too messy. # 2. Keep him alive, cause someone has to dig the grave. # 3 If you have to kill him and put him in the trunk roll him up in carpet, with scotch guard so the blood won't bleed through. # 4 A bat is the best way to go. you can put one in the trunk next to the body, make it a more mob style kill. Don't ask how I know these things. They sell a garage kit with a few figures and tools. some of them are laying down. You can probobly make them work. -
I had a blast guys. This one out did the last one. And the next one should be even better. It's going to be something to look foward to going every year to see our new East Coast family. See you all in Toledo.
