  1. That is one handsome Ford. I love the look of this brute. Nice detailing, and nice work casting the old grill.
  2. Very nice build, Mario. The T1 looks perfect in your diorama setting. Well done.
  3. Cool stuff, Claude. Very innovative, and great details, too. Love the details of the campsite also. Very nicely done.
  4. Very cool T, Jim. I dig the simple, DIY style.
  5. A couple of times I’ve had a difficult scribe, I made a template out of beer can aluminum. I cut out a piece of aluminum from the can 1.5 inches square or so, and file/sand the subtle curve on one edge. Then securely tape or clamp the template into position. It gives a nice solid edge against which to hold the scriber for good control.
  6. Cheers Sidney. Much appreciated.
  7. Sidney, what primer and paint did you use on this build? I think this colour will be perfect for a ‘68 Charger project I’m planning. Cheers.
  8. Real shame about that chassis twist. Beautiful El Camino, and the foil work is top notch.
  9. Beautiful work, Andreas. That is a lovely Avanti. Engine detailing is superb. Nice finish, too. Love it!
  10. According to the MSDS someone posted earlier, the white cap cement contains 11% polystyrene, which I believe the orange cap (non-limonene) cement does not have. I have made the assumption that this may be the only difference between the two. Standing by to be corrected. The inclusion of 11% styrene plastic in the white-cap cement is interesting. I think I need to pick up some of this stuff and see what it is all about.
  11. Yup, my thoughts exactly. Spent a lot of time looking at Panhards. Couldn't find it.
  12. Love it! Fantastic build. Everything looks right. I really dig the look of an injected Cammer. Glad you built this one un-blown.
  13. Cool Barracuda. I really dig those tail lights.
  14. You got that right. When I was a kid a relative gave me a Palmer kit and a tube of Notox to build it. How poetic.
  15. Lots of info in this long thread. The info you're looking for may not be there, but lots of discussion for anyone who is interested in this model.
  16. Incredible. Nice work. I dig these vintage kit builds. Very cool model.
  17. Cool. I've not noted that before. I assume the coil is under the black cap on top?
  18. That's looking great. Very nice work. Tough looking drivetrain.
  19. One of my favourite kits from my youth. Very nice work on this one. Looks great in red. Sweet RR.
  20. Fine looking Plymouth, Sidney. The bold shade of yellow looks great on this car. Gives it a wicked attitude. Nicely done.
  21. Cool little Toyota. I really dig that paint effect with the coat of smoke. Gives the car a nice aggressive vibe. The colour reminds me of black-jade as used on ‘69 Fords.
  22. Cool photos.
  23. Beautiful Cougar II. I have always been a fan of this car, too. Your build has captured all of the elegance and coolness of the 1:1. Lovely work.
  24. Everything is looking great. Nice work on the details. I just read this thread through, a fine primer for building a Ford C-series pumper. I've been planning a similar project myself, and this thread will be a huge help, thanks to the mountain of knowledge contributed. Cheers all.
  25. You could apply the sticker to some decal paper, then apply/reposition like a decal.
