  1. Been away from the forum a while, and just checking up on some projects. Yours is coming along very nicely, Bill. Huge improvements. Love what you did with the wheels. Looking forward to seeing more.
  2. Cool project! I've always been interested in this kit, and have heard all the issues regarding getting it to all fit under the body work. Your plan should solve that, and produce a stunning display. Nive work so far.
  3. Just catching up on this build after being away for a while. Stellar work, Charles. Impressive and inspiring. I would love to see this thing in person. A beautiful creation indeed.
  4. Just returning to the forum after a couple months away, glad to find this cool build. Nice work so far Andrew. I admire your courage to redo the left side decals.
  5. Very nice work, Francis. Good to see you back at the bench.
  6. Wow. Huge difference. They look great.
  7. Yeah, that thing has cool all over it. Wicked attitude.
  8. Wow! That thing is insane. And the upright driving position is brutal. How unstable that must have been, not to mention trying to maintain control with those crazy handlebars. How much better it would have been if he laid on the tank and used shorter bars.
  9. Great job on a challenging kit. It really is a fine looking car. Very well done.
  10. Beautiful Porsche. It may have been a tough kit, but you did a splendid job of it. All round great build.
  11. Digging that Mitsubishi kit. Never knew it existed.
  12. Nice Torino, Mario. Love the colour. I really dig the second photo, the way the light plays on the body.
  13. Nice looking Bentley, John. What scale is this?
  14. Words fail me, Charles. Simply excellent. This is what real model building is all about.
  15. Martin, this is a seriously wicked build. Very creative and very clean. I want to climb aboard and put the spurs to it.
  16. Very cool Charger, and a lovely replica. Very nicely done.
  17. Lovely Stratos. Nice clean work. It's great to see one built stock.
  18. Cool project. Nice work on the wheels. I don't what this fascination is with Japanese kit makers using way oversized wheels on otherwise immaculately scaled kits.
  19. What is the application? Find out what size the 1:1 tube size is, and divide that by 12. For instance, if the actual roll cage tube is 2 inches; 2 divided by 12 = .166 or 166 thou. The nearest common rod sizes are 3/16" (.187") for a bit fatter tube, and 5/32 (.156") or 4 mm (.157"), for a bit thinner tube. For 2.5 inch tube; 2.5 divided by 12 = .208". The nearest common sizes are 7/32" (.218") for a fatter tube, and 5 mm (.197) for a thinner tube. First though, you need to find the actual size of the tube you wish to replicate.
  20. Very cool! The Capri looks great dressed up as a Lotus.
  21. Welcome to the forum, Martin. Looking forward to seeing some of those awesome race cars. Cheers.
  22. Things are looking good. I notice the bell housing has the word COBRA cast into it. Did the 1:1 have this?
  23. I always thought the engine in this kit is weak, and of course, it is, but stripped of chrome it already looks much better.
  24. Nice foil work.
