It's not the cost, it's the value :)
timc replied to Howard Cohen's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I make $18 an hour,so a grand a week is possible. I did it all last year and I'm in a low income area. The money is there if you are willing to work for it. Back on topic I buy what raises my interests at the time, but the household bills come first. -
Now all we need is some pictures of what's in the box! sprue by sprue please. Thanks

Revell 68 Charger for the wheels and the aftermarket for the hubcaps. Or you could try Scenes Unlimited. -
I clicked on the flag at the top and found the US Dollar conversion and it was $60. So put me down for one.

Anybody got one yet? I would like to see what's inside before I order one, please? Nevermind I forgot they were on the first page.

What about the PINK? John? I was following the cuda build too and it just faded away?

Remember the Pro-Modeler 69 charger? It had a mis-shaped roof line and a few other discrepancies. They fixed it and sent out replacement kits.I still have one of each. Just sayin' it could happen.I'll get two of them just because I used to race one myself. As far as induction goes I see a high rise intake with a big dominator in the future. This is just my two cents and in no means meant to start a riot. bigtim

question on US licence plates.
timc replied to roym's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
A 1967 mustang in Virginia would have white plate with black letters. Even number years will have a black plate with white letters and odd number years is white plate with black letters. If the year on the plates match the year of the vehicle and they are still in good condition ,the DMV will register them to the vehicle as antique tags. No inspection sticker or county or town sticker is required with these plates. But here's the kicker, you are limited on the miles that you can drive said vehicle per year,as it is considered an antique vehicle and should only be driven to and from shows or for maintenance purposes. This information comes from a DOT Trooper that lives nearby. I used to restore those old tags for the guys at work who own older cars. Hope this helps, bigtim. -
Thought I replied already ,but it disappeared. Hobbytown USA carries the magazine. Also a few from other publishers.

Got it from GMS Customs on ebay for $14.99 + shipping.($21 Total) All this after getting a run around from Hobbytown for three weeks over this kit. Hope to start it Friday night.
