  1. What should I use for a base coat under the last three.I know the pagan gold goes over silver or gold.I was told to use flat black under the other three because they are color shift paints.I would also like to see some examples of these paints please.thanks bigtim.
  2. Need a link for the wheels please?
  3. You will not be disapointed with Norm's quality.I'm the same way as you,but Norm is the exception to that rule. His parts are way better than most kit parts.I say go ahead and order you will be very happy in the end.bigtim
  4. Well for me,when I was younger I couldn't get a new kit untill I finished the one I had already. When I got older and started making my own money,I could get kits nearly whenever I wanted. Now I have close to 370 in the stash with intentions on building them all.bigtim.
  5. Buick is still here because when you turn 62 or 65,whatever the retirement age is,they issue you a gold buick four door and the right to drive 25 mph under the posted speed limit. I might step on some toes here. 90% of the time when there is a line of traffic moving slow there is a gold buick leading the way with an elderly driver at the wheel. Pay attention the next time you are out and about and you'll see what I'm sayin.
  6. One word.....NASTY. and not in a good way.
  7. Jonathan,If you don't really want that silverado I'd be interested in it.bigtim

  11. Heads up guys! Revell is out of the replacement tires, but will ship them out as soon as they have more.I'll continue to wait for mine.
  12. I tripple dog dare you!
  13. Why change what ain't broke? I had a '76 280Z with independant rear. That thing would not launch in a straight line to save it's own butt. You never knew which way it was gonna go when you dumped the clutch. At least with the way the Mustangs are now you know they are gonna go straight unless the road is wet.The '84 GT that I had would swap ends in a heartbeat if you pulled out to hard in first gear on a wet road. Just my opinions and experiences.
  14. It's got a Gangster Cord look to it. I like it,it's different but not gawdy. Now who is gonna build it in plastic?
  15. I'm a subscriber and I got my "January" issue on 3-1-13.Covers are not tornup but the mail girl folded and rubber banded it with the rest of the mail.I'll be able to read it when it flattens out.
  16. OK thanks James.I geuss This summer will bring the kit and photo-etch set. Thanks again, bigtim.
  17. JamesW, Do those Z-Tune parts come in the box with the Skyline or are they a separate purchase item?If they do it makes that kit worth getting. Thanks bigtim.

  20. I finally got The 50 Olds kit yesterday. After getting home and opening the kit,I found out that the tires are blackwalls. The box says Tampo printed whitewalls.I remember reading somewhere here that Revell was sending out replacement tires for these kits. So here is my question. Should I call them or do the on-line parts replacement or go the snail mail route? Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks bigtim.
  21. Count me in Tom,PM sent to you. Tim.
  22. I say real. It's got too many details that are left off of models.
