  1. I'm not sure what factory sheet you mean but Fasig Graphics can make them brighter as well.
  2. Here's another company making 1/24 trailers. They're made of metal and a bit pricey but really nice!!!! Very nice construction. I have the red TrailKing tri axle lowboy. http://modeltrucks.net
  3. If your wanting direct copies of that sheet, I would suggest getting with Jerry at ModelTruckin but if your wanting changes like the flame portions removed from the stripes, I would suggest sending the sheet to Mike at Fasig Graphics.
  4. Those are kit decals, right? I don't have that version of the FLC. I know a couple places that can copy those decals but they would need to still be on the sheet of course. Jerry at ModelTruckin is one. I also know a guy that makes awesome custom decals from looking at photos but it would be hard to match those stripes as far as getting the size the exact same and the colors to match. His email, if your interested, is: FasigGraphics@aol.com The guy does excellent work!!!!
  5. Hey guys, the catalog # is RM-32 Freightliner logos & mud flap weights. Norm didn't say anything about being out of them? I ordered three sets. I'm sure these could be ordered directly from FotoCut as well if need be? I don't believe they have a website but they will mail you a paper catalog that has a LOT of cool stuff in it!!! You can reach him at: normanveber@aol.com
  6. For those interestd, here's those Freightliner photo etch emblems from Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland. They are actually made by FotoCut and sold through R&M. They still have them for sale if anyone is looking for a set.
  7. Saweeet! I see you bought some of the ten holes I mastered from Jamie. They'll make a big difference in the overall appearance!!!! Are you going to have them chrome plated or shot with Alclad? They look great either way! Did you get some different drive tires from Jamie? He has some that fit those wheels, really nice!
  8. Kit Form Services sells a small pack of white metal valves for detailing chassis' but it would be really easy to make some out of little bits of round and square plastic with a little strip of brass for the actuating rod.
  9. Outstanding!!!!!! This kit has definitely taken model truck kits to a whole new level!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much Dave for keeping us updated as to the progress. I think other model companies could sure learn a lot from Moebius!!!!
  10. So that is you in your avatar, leaving the scrap yard! LOL
  11. Hello Klaus, I am happy to help! That would really be something to see one built as a tow truck!!!!!!
  12. JBOT decals in Canada makes a lot of different truck decals as well and they can print them in any scale.
  13. Hey Lee, I'm really happy for you!!!!!!! I know first hand how it is to work for someone that treats you like a slave! No appreciation, no chance for advancement. That's where I'm at now! I want to change jobs so bad but don't want to risk taking a pay cut and losing my insurance (or having it go sky high on Cobra!) I hope your new job turns out to be everything you hope for!!!!
  14. Hello Klaus! Great to see you here! This is a very nice kit indeed!!!! If they don't sell them over there, I'll be glad to purchase them for you here and ship them to you.
  15. Hey Tony, if you look at my avatar you'll see a Cummins very similar to the one that is in your Freightliner. You can find more pictures as I detailed it on my Fotki site as well as pictures of real engines. The one in my avatar can be found in the "Snowman's Kenworth" album. http://www.public.fotki.com/lotso/

    Ferrari Enzo...

Wow! That is some outstanding work!!!!! Very nice!!!!!!!
  17. I am currently building a replica of Miss Behavin, Western Distributing's custom 53 Peterbilt. I have talked with Dino Guadagni (the owner of Western Distributing) and asked him for the paint code used on his trucks (before the ocean paint scheme, the Pete was the same color as the fleet trucks) He refered me to the paint shop he uses and I was able to obtain the paint code from them. From there I took it to the shop where I work and had it mixed.
  18. Yep, if you buy two kits, putty and spend a LOT of time very carefully sanding trying to hide the big ugly seams on the sides and roof! If you want it to be 53' , you'll end up with two big seams on each side and two on the roof. (the trailer is 48' as it comes in the kit) Then all you would need to deal with is a suspension that sits too high and those ugly European wheels with drive hubs!
  19. My most favorite car of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would gladly hand the keys of my Camaro over to that dealership if they wanted to trade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. I always try to buy at least two of everything, model or diecast wise. One to build and one to collect. I have however bought many models by the case for various reasons. I have bought several different truck kits by the case to send over seas to friends that can't get them, to help them out. I have bought cases of truck kits when they were at "can't pass up" prices. I have also bought quite a few of the same kit, not necessarily in a case but enough of the same kit to fill several cases because they could be built in so many variations. I'll be buying at least one case of the new Moebius Lonestar tractor kit not only because it's an awesome kit but to show my support in hopes for more great kits from them!!!!! I look at models not only as pure enjoyment but also as a bit of an investment. My son is going to make out like a bandit someday!!!! LOL
  21. On most of the Italeri and Revell, multi piece cabs, you can assemble that cab before you install the interior. Look at the side and rear wall pieces before you assemble them. On the inside of each piece, at the bottom, you will see a flat area where the edge of the floor will rest, once in place. If there are any large tabs that will end up under the floor, you may want to cut these off before hand so that they don't get in the way when your trying to install the interior later. I forget if the Freightliner cab has them but they sometimes put a plastic "tab" for the floor to rest on. If anything on the instructions is a little confusing, don't be afraid to ask a question here. There's a ton of very knowledgeable truck guys here that love to help! That kit is not cheap, you want to build it right!
  22. I agree with Scott, the "Cummins" paint from Cummins or Napa is not only really thick and glossy but every can I sampled from both places was a medium brown. Way darker than any other Cummins I had ever seen! Even the parts guy at Cummins said it didn't look right.
  23. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Thanks guys! I have seen several really cool builds and really wanted to know more about them but couldn't find any info on them? I was hoping there was something on the page showing the picture that would take you right to more info about it.
