  1. Yea, it would be good to find him again! LOL, Did you yell, "NNNGOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!"
  2. We had a bid Model Fiesta here in San Antonio over the weekend and there was a guy there with a ton sealed and sealed inside, older kits! Lots of Richard Petty stuff like the only MPC stock cars, lots of annual kits and drag kits. I spied these puppies as he unloaded them from a big box and snagged em! He had everything listed at 50% off but his prices were a bit high on some kits. I paid a total of 130.00 for these three kits. The Mustang funny is sealed the Dyno Don Eliminator is sealed inside but the decals are worthless and the box has some small holes. The Cougar is mint, still sealed inside and the body is still wrapped in the protective brown paper.
  3. Thought I'd bump this up to the top as I'm itchin for an update!!!!
  4. Very cool!!!!!!!!
  5. Looks like an interesting show! I can do without the over enthusiastic host though.
  6. Excellent work Sergey!!!! It will be a shame to paint over it!
  7. My favorite is my 69 Camaro. Every nut bolt and screw replaced and built by me from the ground up. It's in the middle of many "enhancements" right now!
  8. Anyone done research lately on who has the cheapest price on current truck kits like the AMT Kenworth cabover and the Bill Signs Pete? Hobbylinc has the Kenworth for 26.99 and the Bill Signs for 93.00. Anyone seen a better price than that?
  9. Looks great Andy! Nice Texas bumper.
  10. You get a prince, or so I've been toad. BOOOOOOOOOO
  11. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you get lots of models!
  12. When you say that you "pre wet it", do you mean that you put it on the model where it needs to be and then drag a wet finger along the edge, or what?
  13. I saw that TV commercial for that Frog Tape that has some sort of sealing technology on the edge of the tape that prevents bleed under. Just wondering if anyone has tried it on models?
  14. Ooooooh, gonna like this one!!!!!! That's the first time I've seen the Allison put to use. Looks right at home!
  15. "Evan" is Evan Hermel. He writes the Truckstop column in Scale Auto Magazine. He cast this stuff about two years ago if I remember correctly? I have misplaced my contact info for him. If you have an SAE magazine, his contact info might be in there in his column?
  16. Hmm, I guess he changed his mind. I gave him step by step instructions on how to cast the cab and fenders all in one piece. I thought he had said it came out great?
  17. Anyone else get up at 6:00am to go out and do donuts in the Target parking lot in the snow? If anyone asks, that white Z71 pickup spinning all over the place was not me!!!
  18. I thought he was molding the cab and fenders all in one piece? I need to get with him. I really would like to get one too!
  19. Outstanding build!!!!!!!! Did you get those resin front end parts from Evan?
  20. Thanks Doug! That was cool! He did a great job on it!
  21. There was already a guy selling resin copies of sides he made using those New Ray trailers but they were poorly done. I would like to get a couple and see if they could be turned into a 53' spread axle. The bad thing is, it would be hard to cast the sides with them being that long.
  22. This might be old news but just in case, I thought I'd post it. http://staceydavid.com/contest.html
  23. Oh man, if this cab is available in resin, someone needs to make that mural into a decal!!!!! I wonder why they put the rain caps on backwards?
