  1. Thanks Joe.
  2. Kobey's. Thank you for the memory jog. Last time for me being there was about 1993. Great memories for me.
  3. Vendor with a Mohawk haircut (Randy maybe) puts out boxes of kits. First kit is $8, buy 2 it's $15, buy 3 its $20. Not Ollie's. Most of the kits are sealed. Gotta go to Pinellas Park, FL for the sale. There's also a guy who does about the same thing at the Jaxcon show but doesn't have quite the selection.
  4. Can't please everybody all the time, Tulio. Thanks for looking. Thank you David.
  5. Well I can't find of the rouge wheels at Red Frog Hobbies.
  6. Really good kit sales probably happen 4 or 5 times over the year. You won't find vintage kits for $10. Just the run of the mill normal kits. I would think SOCAL would have tons of kits all the time. What about that huge flea market in San Diego? I forget exactly where it was - it's been many, many years. It was in a parking lot of a stadium I think. There's one swat meet I don't go to because the organizer(s) charge $3.00 just to get into the building. Not my style.
  7. Those shouldn't be very difficult to make at home.
  8. Cool model. never saw one before.
  9. That's 1/25 scale? Unreal details. Beautiful. Can I ask the source of the rear tires?
  10. Not here in FLA. Kits for $10 are available at FAST meetings, contests and swap meets all the time. There's 1 vendor sells for even less if you buy 3 or more.
  11. I'm not familiar with this HRM place or Rudge wheels. Can you provide some help?
  12. Real nice build.
  13. Why didn't you use the front flares too?
  14. Maybe it's just me. I'm not used to paying more than $10.00 for a kit.
  15. You might want to check out the Fatkidd Hobby Products hinge tool. It's very nice.
  16. Fine looking hot rod.
  17. Beautiful build and it's so clean and SHINY . I wonder what one of those would be like with a big block Chevy or Ford engine?
  18. Bought a Comet Cyclone GT off ebay. It was coming from TX to FL and supposed to be delivered Friday. Got it yesterday. Pretty quick.
  19. Thank you Steve, Marty, and Jim.
  20. That is some serious equipment. I lived in a CONEX box for quite a few months when I was in Vietnam.
  21. Thank you Jim and David.
  22. Thanks Bear.
  23. Thanks Richard.
