The 1970 Plymouth Road Runner is rapidly becoming most favorite car. I keep looking for a 1:1 but you can't touch them for under 50k. Guess I'll keep building models of it. Anyway, I finished this one in HOK brandywine kandy over a black base. The wheels are from the parts bin. engine is wired up.
Hex shaped Japanese seed beads is what you want to search for. I have 5 or 6 different sizes. I bought them in clear to paint easier, but they come in a variety of colors.
I use hex shaped Japanese seed beads for AN fittings using either Sharpies or Tamiya clear paints for the color. Black fitting would be even easier to color.
Thanks fellas. If I counted my first 2 marriages I'd be up around mid to high 30's. They don't count anymore though, Steven. Rare/medium?? Are you part cannibal, Bruce. Butterflied and well done for me. I'm happy you got married then, Nick.
Thank you folks. It's been a good run with her. She gets involved in all the Veteran stuff I do and has no problem with my model building time. Going to celebrate with a steak at Carrabba's tonight.
Me and Marcia got married 16 years ago. A bunch of out "Leather Turtle" friends came down from the Chicago area with their bikes to share a few days with us riding around sunny FLA.
