  1. Just do it Harry. We left all our family and friends in Illinois 15 years ago. We didn't know anybody in FLA, but we went anyway. The biggest mistake we made was moving just about everything with us. After the move, we realized we should have sold as much as we could in Aurora and bought new down here. Live and learn. Wheaton Movers did a fabulous job and nothing was broken or damaged.
  2. You work for yourself, Harry, so I imagine you could live anywhere. What are you waiting for? MOVE
  3. Just another good reason I left that crummy state - besides the weather. "Crook County, Illinois (more crooked politicians per square mile than any other county!" And how many of them are still in jail?
  4. Thank you Rich.
  5. Pretty pic.
  6. Thank you Mike and Dave. It was mentioned to me last year some time that "If it isn't SHINY, you can kiss my hiney". I kind of like that statement.
  7. Thank you Ron and Mark.
  8. Thanks Mark. The fabric patterns actually came on the kit decal sheet.
  9. I use baby powder as a release agent if needed. Bear in mind that I do only 1 part molds. You would need a better release agent if you're doing 2 part molds.
  10. Beautiful. gorgeous, SHINY . What paint & color did you use?
  11. Clean, sweet, and SHINY
  12. I've been using Smooth-On for a few years, Tommy. Smooth Cast 300 along with their OoMoo 30 for the molds. Both products mix a 50/50 ratio so it's easy to measure.
  13. Very nice.
  14. Looks really good in SHINY
  15. An expensive but very worthwhile tool.
  16. Welcome Terry
  17. Really nice work going on. Are you going to do anything with the taillights? The headlights are canted in one direction while the taillights are the opposite angle.
  18. Welcome Philippe.
  19. Thanks Cliff.
  20. Thanks Darryl. It'll probably be at Billetproof on March 26. (Hint, hint)
  21. Yeah, it's there. Met "Snake" at The Wall over Veterans Day. Bruce Crandall was the chopper pilot during the Battle of ia Drang Valley in 1965. Flew 14 hours straight in 3 different Huey's (first 2 were too shot up to fly), and saved 70 American soldiers. Snake was awarded the Medal of Honor. He left a spare MOH ribbon at his panel of The Wall.
