  1. Thank you Brian, Hugh, and Don. Wheels/tires are from the kit. I believe in real life they would be the police special wheels. The box shows them painted with the small hubcaps. They were chrome in the kit and I couldn't strip them down and paint them. I use only Fatkidd style distributors. Fatkidd, who posts on this forum sometimes, sells them for a couple bucks each, but he showed me what I needed and how to make them myself.

    69 Galaxie

Sure is SHINY . Nice job.
  3. Sweet, smooth, and SHINY
  4. Holy cow - it looks like a 1:1. Great build.
  5. A good day so far. No rain yet, although it's coming. At least I was able to get out in the yard and pull 4 wheelbarrows worth of weeds, palm tree trimmings, fern and pine cone ginger thinning.
  6. Good stuff. I've used it for years on leaded glass projects and found it works wonders on aluminum tubing. http://www.simichrome-polish.com/
  7. It's a lot easier to get some Simichrome polish to rub the aluminum.
  8. We bought a blu ray DVD the other day and Marcia ordered Netflix today. Tonight we watch a movie (I hope).
  9. Both builds are very nice.
  10. Another opening 1 pic in an album it fills the left side of the screen. On the right side are 4 boxes. The bottom 1 is labeled IMG. Clicking on that box, the box turns yellow and "copied" shows up inside. If that's not happening, I would think you have an issue with Photobucket. Sorry I can't help more - I'm not a computer guy.
  11. My pics are kept in Photobucket. When I'm ready to post, I open PB, go to a album, double click a pic, click on the IMG box and it says copied in yellow. Go open MCM and start a topic, and use control v to paste into MCM. It's been working that way for a few years now.
  12. Gorgeous build and so SHINY
  13. Thank you Peter and Dave.
  14. Thank you Paul. It's good to go against the grain sometimes.
  15. I put the rear axle on top of the leaf springs. On the front end I drilled holes higher up on the frame, CA glued brass axles and then glued the wheels/tires on. After that I glued in the suspension pieces.
  16. Sweet, clean, and SHINY
  17. Thank you guys. Interior colors are Testors Model Master sand and dark Italian brown with Ken's Fuzzy Fur mohair flocking.
  18. It's the Li'l Red Express kit but it sure isn't red but HOK lite teal pearl. Suspension was lowered, solder used for a new exhaust system, and some big rubber underneath.
