build this one quite a while ago. Have a chance to have a photographer taken some pictures of it.

Thanks for more positive comments. I don't know about the other kits from Fujimi or Aoshima, but if Tamiya has a car, I will always pick a Tamiya kit because the scaling of their kit is more accurate than the others. The engine came with the car, very nice molding and engraving on the kit engine, but it still lack a lot of details. I build one years ago stock, and the engine compartment is very bare. I added wiring to the ignition cable, battery, lights and etc. I also added lines for the brake and clutch master plus the vacuum pipe. Added hoses for the washer bottle and radiator drain. I also added the water hose from the heater core to the water pump. So I added a lot of extra to make the engine compartment look busier.

thanks for all the positive comments. the kit is really good to begin with.

Tamiya kit. A very nice kit but with some missing details. So added a lot of wiring and scratch build part under the hood to make it look busier. Thanks for looking.,

this engine is fantastic for a 1/20 scale. Here it is wired and shaded. Added fuel lines to the injectors and oil coolers plus a dipstick. time to move on the chassis.

pick up this classic tamiya kit through a auction and everything including the decals are fine. This is a old kit that I wish I made when I was a kid bu never had the chance. A very detail kit that can either be motorized or static display, i will do it as a static display model. The casting and the details are stunning. Both the trunk and engine area are functional and the almost every details are excellent. Wish they will made kit like this now. Currently got the dash and some of the engine done. Will be super-detailing everything with wiring and more added details.

Working on this Italeri kit. Not a bad kit but quite a few modification needed to make it more accurate. Change the headlight and fog light from my parts bin already. Going to get a detail kit and metal wire wheel to complete this project.
-
pretty much put it all together. Just need to do some cleanup work to complete it.
-
the tire mark is hand painted. But I flipped it to no paint side now. Doesn't really seem to fit with white tire marking on this particular car.

One of the best commercial kit ever built and this is the second time I am building it. It's a Tamiya kit and parts are cast so well. The first time was a straight build but this time I am adding a lot more details to it to bring out the best in this kit. Weather here is not very good lately so progress is slow, at least now it is getting close.

it is a the point of completion of Stage 1 of this car. Stage 2 will be getting into more details with this car. Here are some pictures of the stage 1 completion.

For reply, a friend a of mine in Taiwan is building a few NSX on commission and one of them is to convert it to a Early R. he casted the wheels and the seat already and maybe I have an option to change it to early R typre wheels just for different taste. But since it is early type R, i don't think he made the later style bubble headlight. I can ask if you are interested. Regarding the labels on the center console and on the belts, it is just detail painting.

This one is free, from a friend's stash while he is moving. Thinking why not build a ferrari. This should be a excellent kit. very good details in it.

This is one good piece of modeling kit except for the tires. Not the usual Tamiya standard and my guess is they shared this tire with another manufacturer. Simple clean up of the mold lines and the body is done in less than 20 minutes. But the engine lid mold line is a bit tougher to get to, it is covered by the wing. This should be a stunner once it is done or at least I hope so.
-
since I am almost done with the GTV, why not build another italian car. Tamiya F50. The paint is on the main body, still fixing the mold line on the engine lid/wing.

thanks for all the positive comments.

Been busy doing other stuff at the moment so not spending that much time on this one. But the basic body and chassis is together. Now, just have to finalize some of the details. Here is a look at what I want to do to it.

Almost ready to sent this one to next section. There are still a few more details that is needed to complete the whole project. Here are some outdoor picture of this car.
-
u should be proud. Great build.
-
a bit more progress on it. Basically complete the build of the car except the seat. But need to do some wiring under the hood and some weathering on the chassis too.
-
yes, this is a simple build because I am not really doing that much detail on it. This car will also be weathered to make it look like it is being used for a few years. So not even going to polish the paint and have some orange peel on it to make it look like currently water base paint finish. At least I finally got the front end painted now, so at least the car is color matched.

A simple build just to take some stress out of building big 1/12 kits. Very good kit, not much clean up needed and casting is typical Tamiya excellent with crisp details. Another impressive piece is the dash itself. Almost done, but just need to do the part of the car and the seats.

i am sure your 1/1 356 will be just as good as your 1/24. Great details. Got a B cab to restore and A coupe and Speedster to build slowly for my diorama in 1/24.

Test fitted the upper and lower body. Slowly getting it to shape.
