Man oh man my favorite muscle car! Good choice and great work. Is that Huggar Orange? Any how I have built 4 or 5 in the last three years. Just love them Camaros. You did a whale of a job on this car.

That is a bad Mopar. So fresh and so clean. Very nice indeed!

Gotta agree with you on them pricing themselves out! I just got the Canon Porsche repop at Hobby Town and that was $40. Lucky for me the matched Tower Hobbies price . A savings of $10. FYI do not waste your money on the Shell Porsche 962. What a turd of a kit. The glass is already molded in to the body. The rear wing is also molded in to make painting an issue. Cant wait to see some progress on the GT-R 35. I thought that car was just mean looking when I first saw it! -

Is it worth the $65-$70 price tag hobby shops are wanting for it? Honestly I have a hard time paying that much for a kit with very little detail. -
Dude , I got to tell you I enjoy your modeling subjects. That Lola plus the 430 you are working on are just incredible. Decals that wont stick just suck!

Thanks for the get back!

Holy moly! Not a lowrider fan either but West Coast guys sure know how to do them up tight. Love the rotors and calipers. Would like to know where I could pick up a set my self? Keep up the awesome work!

I believe the point is this is a model car forum, not a place to express political or religous views. That was what I got out of the responses to your signature. I will gaurentee there woul be alot of people offended if I posted my views. I don't. This is not the place for that. That's all. And trust me I am all for freedom of speech and freedom of expression!

Photo Etched parts; brand name...or?
chris coller replied to Saturnine's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Go with the Crazy Modeler set. I find Tamiya photo etch is thick and certain aspects lack detail. The Crazy Modeler has more detail and probably morwe detail parts per fret. The set I got for my FXX was 5 frets for like $33 or something like that. The only thing with the Crazy Modeler is the brake rotors are a bit thick but they are like 6 or 8 piece disc brakes. Just my take. Hope this is useful. -
I like the 58 Impala. That looks sweet. Something about cars that sit low!

Personal preference I have used Studio27 and Scale motorsport like them both. I use the 1/20th scale twill weave alot only because it has more definition. I like studio 27 cause the over lay very well. I seem to have issue overlayining SMS twill weave. If you go over complex curves make templates use micro-sol or decal softener of your choice. To help aid me in my process I use a hair drier on low temp and q-tips to help smooth out the decals. Just let the decals sit for alittle. About a minute because the decals become very soft after applying heat. I hope taht helps!

Cool! I am also doing a 66 Stang Foose style. What color/colors you doing? I my self like this body style for a Mustang. I will be watching.

Public Apology

Okay I don't understand why some people are so sensitive about everthing. I come on here and post about things I like ,that interest me and catch my eye. Trying to cover all posts here. I don't know Bluesman personally just what he posts. Why so sensitive? I have read some of your posts. You arent always the most positive about things. I think it is great when people voice their opinions. It's your right to speak your mind. Granted things on a public message board should be within good taste. But all the politcally correct "oh dont say that cause you hurt my feelings" type stuff is just crazy. I know there are many differnt trains of thought on this. For example you can say the same thing three different ways and it will have three different meanings. I of all people know the truth hurts sometimes, but take that and turn it into a possitive. Do you think people who are successful never heard negatives in there life? I dont know why you guys had a disagreement but this a great place to be and I am just voicing my opinion. So I hope you guys can work things out and keep contributing to the board. Have fun and keep building! And most importantly build for yourself. It's OK WE ALL NEED HUGS FROM TIME TO TIME! -
Very Nice!

RadRides is right. Dont listen to them even though one makes a good point. They are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. JoHan kits arent the most easy to find. I am sure that causes buyers/collectors to shell out more money for them as well. As both a buyer/collector and builder I am kind of in the middle on this. Build as many of them as you can and enjoy!

Nice clean build, awesome interior work. One more thing, you can never go wrong with a blue paint job. Great looking Skyline!

Nick , maybe if someone makes a trans kit. The $200ish price tag now is a little steep. I might do a 360. Scale production offers a trans kit. I think it is for a challenge car though. Got enough creative juices to make something happen. Just got to many other thing that need to be done first.

Very nice! Hope I get to see this in next months meeting.

Hey Austin, I see you live in Lancaster. Any chance you wanting to join a model club in York? Nice T-Bucket. I'm sure my club members would also appreciate it.
