  1. S'kewsh shme, whilesch ay jesh wipsh aw thish drwibllesh auf mai keeboardsh ...... HOT ######.....If that's not one of the best stock car replicas I've ever seen, I'll.............................................oh, never mind. David, please excuse my jibbering at the start...but I really did have a drooling fit looking at this one..Great work.

    69' Nova

Very very nice build. Great detail and the paint looks smooth as.....I'm likin' that Nassau blue too......niiiiiice.. I like how you made the motor more "stock" too...Did you smooth the rocker covers from the kit, or find some stockies in your stash...?
  4. Man, that paint looks awesome Marc.... All your work in body prep really paid off for you mate, well done. Look forward to more. Cheers.
  5. Looking very good Walt. I think you nailed the stance, and it looks way better without the shiney on the wheels too...

Looks great Tom. I like where it's heading... Never thought of doing one in white, but I love the clean look you got there...Look forward to more.
  7. Ok....dispute filed..... I contacted Paypal, and was advised to start a dispute, even though it is past the 45 day period. It's "case closed" immediately, BUT.............. If.....I say..IF, they receive enough dispute claims, they will "re-open" their file on the case.....within 180 days. So, there is a slim chance...... I know, it was only $78USD....but it's 78 dollars that would be way better in my pocket....
  8. This one Chris.... (I'm not going to split hairs here, it sure was a nice Holden ute, but I'd have thought maybe in diorama class, not with regular cars..?? Just MHO.. ..)
  9. Hmmm.....I'd say I'm screwed then......kiss a hundred bucks g'bye.....Hope they spend/spent it wisely.
  10. Hey guys, thank you very much Bill and George.. Here's a link to some pics I got......only 146, had to bin some..(blurry....some dufus forgot his tripod adapter and the first half of the mornings shots were a tad shakey.... ..) There's a bit of everything here, mostly autos....a few trucks (not many there this year) some really kool dio's........ QHME 2008 competition Thanks again guys..
  11. Thanks so much Dan and Dave.. Gotta let you's know....(I'm still fairly high on this..) I managed a Silver Medal (2nd place) at the QMHE on the weekend.... You reckon I ain't happy.......you betcha.......Still getting over how popular it was...... Cheers guys.
  12. Hey Olle, That is not good to hear mate....way too long..... I have found an alternate, more currant (?) email....just waiting to see if I get a response....
  13. Hey guys, Just after some advise and a little help... I purchased some items through ebay from Duane and Susan, bit over 2 months ago now....paid upfront with Paypal. I know all has not been good, health wise...but I have been trying to contact them regarding shipment...Nothing has arrived yet. I know their product...I've used their stuff before, and because of that, I have not tried to take any kind of adverse reaction via ebay regarding the delay.. It's way past the deadline for taking any action anyways...think it is 45 days..... I tried contact through ebay, 3 messages sent....I emailed through their website, it got bounced back..... As they are most likely good friends to some of you here, I'm asking if there is a way of contacting them....please..... I'd try phoning, but from Australia...that's probly getting a bit extreme....also expensive...not to mention the time differences..... If someone can help, email me off the board if you wish...or pass on this plee if you're talking to them... Please note: I don't want this to become a slam fest, and if that happens, I'd ask Gregg to close it down. It's just a simple ask for help, not a rant or rag on these guys.... TIA for your help guys... Greg
  14. Thanks Lyle. That is such a neat idea..very easy and it just adds so much more detail....great work. It's the small things like this that make it a scale replica...not just a model.... I really love the engine detail too, that looks spot on to me. I think one of mine will be a BM car for sure.... Thanks again mate. Greg
  15. Thanks so much guys..I'm really pleased you all like it as much as I do... I've really gained a lot of satisfaction in completing this one.....one of my most favoured builds to date.... She's off to her first public comp. tonight....a 2-day Show in Brisbane, Qld. Brisbane QMHE (if the link dont work, try again later, the server has been real busy..) I don't expect to win, just be there to make up the numbers....my local club is also having a large display, cars, planes, military....so it should be a great weekend.. Cheers guys Greg
  16. Hey, thanks Mike.. Yep, that's been my biggest problem...with too many projects on the go, getting them done, is taking time... Cheers.
  17. Thanks Joe.
  18. Thanks modeltech.. Appreciate all the positive feedback guys..
  19. Sssssmokin'....... Dang, that looks the part Lyle....fantastic work mate. The sidepipes do suit it very well... Hey, any chance of a good view of your traction bars...? I like what you've done there, adding extra U-bolt detail....nice touch.. cheers mate Greg
  20. Thanks so much guys, really glad you all like it ... Bill, yep..I'd love it if the old JoHan tooling was still around so that Revell or similar could get hold of it, just add their own "newly" revised chassis to it.....save me all the work next time..... Nick, yah..I'm a little partial to blue myself.....got a couple of blues in the collection now...... George.. ..thanks mate, yes, I think they make the total build too...I like steelies heaps..... ajulia, thanks man. ..yeah, I'm really pleased with the motor in this one...couple of areas need tidying up for the next one..
  21. Hey, thanks George..Yeah, was a fun build (most of the time..) but I'm glad it's finally done... Whadda ya reckon bout those steelies.....I told ya I'd put'em to good use... Many thanks mate. "Death race" build off.....hmmm, may have to look into that....... Cheers George Greg
  22. Well, can't say I'm sorry this one is done....Not that it wasn't fun, it was...but it dragged on for nearly 10 months..... .. Converted JoHan S & M Drag Cuda to street duty....Amt 71 Charger supplied the modified chassis, numerous other parts from various kits, some scratchbuilt parts...plus loads of blood sweat an tears.... Final motor shot, all installed including fuel system, Detail Master dizzy, pulleys and battery hardware, coil and radiator hoses, which I tend to forget to add at times... The last detail I added was this fold-down fuel cover/number plate. I made a filler neck and added a cap as well.. There's a load of pics @ Fotki detailing all the conversion work carried out...Cuda build up... Thanks for taking the time to drop in, comments, good and/or bad, all most welcome.. Cheers Greg
  23. Wow..that is a sharp as a tac John.. Very clean build man, you did yourself good. It's one of my fav Camaro's as well.
