  1. A couple of years ago, I bought an empty 1963 Nova Wagon Box, to go with an F & F Resin '63 Nova Wagon I built several years back. As luck would have it, I was able to acquire a pretty clean built-up Nova Wagon to be re-done. It was missing a few pieces, but believe it or not, I had the parts to complete a nice replica stock build, in a set of resin tail lamps, and a set of resin full wheel covers. I also had a Replicas and Miniatures Chevy 6 cylinder engine for it. It's waiting its turn to be done this year. I have to decide on a color combination for it, and I may fabricate a roof rack for it. I have to find the photos of the F & F nova I did several years ago, as it came out pretty nice. It was built as a mild hot rod with a V8 engine/4-speed and a set of big and little Halibrands with a rake. I may do a "Before and After" with this one, with the before version getting a Dr. Cranky style weathering treatment.
  2. I will alter a promo, only if it was "played with, and cannot be saved. This one was scuffed up, and had a busted "A" pillar. Besides I wanted a decent '66 Hardtop, and one was not available in kit form. I am going to modify this one too, as the windshield frame is busted. I have to scratchbuild a windshield frame, and repaint it. I like the green. I will probably add and detail the chrome trim, and detail the interior too.
  3. Nice build J.C.
  4. That one brings back memories. My granddad had a green one back in the day.
  5. That is so nice. I can only hope that mine comes out looking half as good.
  6. That thing is scary cool!!!!!
  7. If you can find an AMT '62 Chevy Bel Air, I am willing to bet you that that seat will fit. For my '66 Chevy II Post sedan Project (using one of Bandit Resin's georgeous bodies), I scratchbuilt a bench seat, which is not all that difficult. Sorry, I have no pictures, and the kit is put away where I cannot get to it right away.
  8. I'm restoring a '71 AMT Torino Cobra, using the chrome and tail lamps from the Modelhaus. No one does the '71 GT yet, but this would be a good subject for Motor City, if there was really enough interest. (hint hint) Personally, I would rather have an accurate '66-'71 Ranchero.
  9. Pretty nice model Euegne!!!!!
  10. Beautiful car, Tulio. My grandmoter had a '61 Galaxie 4 Door Sedan, which I drove the day I got my driver's license. I may have to do a model of it.
  11. Excellent model!!! I once went to school down the street from Bob Banning's dealership. He had some interesting cars there to say the least. A true performance dealership.
  12. Excellent!!!!
  13. I am very impressed by your beautiful work. Please count me as a friend!!!!!
  14. I just picked up one of these to re-build. I may go with this color combo on the build. That model is HUGE!!!!!! Pictures to come later.
  15. My Dad had a '71 just like this one. I want one baaaaad!!!!!
  16. Model Car World does a photooetch set for the 1969 Charger R/T, but not the '68. A lot of the parts from the '69 set will work for the '68.
  17. Same here for the convertible, and I have a All American 2+2 Hardtop, a Missing Link Bonneville Convertible, and the AMT Bonneville and Grand Prix hardtops in the original annual and Prestige kits.
  18. Very nice!!!!!
  19. That is going to be a nice build.
  20. And there you go!!!!
  21. This is the gold standard. And I am going to build it.
  22. You are absolutely right. I have one of those too. Mine came with a chassis.
  23. I like where you are going with this. The black '68 Mercury Park Lane Brougham 4-Door hardtop in the picture is none other than Steve McGarrett's ride on "Hawaii Five-O", or a very good replica. The model you are doing is quite interesting. I have an AMT '70 LTD 4-Door Hardtop (not a Galaxie 500 Sedan) on my desk waiting to be worked over. I have to source a powertrain for it, as it is a curbside kit, as well as add the upper fender mouldings, and a vinyl roof. Mine too will be black-on-black-in-black, with chrome, and whitewalls, just like the one in the '70 Ford brochure, down to the whitewalls and finned wheelcovers.
  24. I'd like to go cruisin' with you, Rich!!!!!! I love it!!!
