  1. I am impressed with your work on this one, Jason. Please keep it going.
  2. I have quite a few Chevy Novas. Unfortunately, I had to sell an unbuilt '62 Hardtop, and a pristine '63 Modelhaus Resin kit earlier this year. Oh well, I still have the others. I have an Boss Nova Funny Car, an AMT '63 Wagon and '65 Hardtop that needs to be restored, a couple of unbuilt AMT '66 Kits, a Bandit Resins '66 2 Door Sedan Transkit, and all of the Revell '69 Nova variations, as well as a couple of the AMT '71's to be turned into a Pontiac Ventura II, which I may just chop up one of the Revell Novas for that conversion. Funny, I built an AMT '66 when that kit first came out (about 20 years ago), and it still looks great, except that it is a little dusty. I may pull it apart when I have the time, and clean it up, and reassemble it. I may remove the Traction Bars, Cragars, and Drag Slicks, and install a set of full wheel covers and whitewalls. One of these days, I'll take a picture of it.
  3. I have a thing for Chevy Novas. I have the Trumpeter kit (hardtop) under construction, which in my opinion was the best model kit that company has done. This one will be a replica stock build, with the 6 Cylinder engine. The AMT convertible will be built as a "GM Executive" car, with "Experimental" drive train mods, as well as a reworked interior, and a different wheel/Tire Combination. The Cragar SS mags in the picture are not going to be used, as I have something else in mind, and the engine is going to be a surprise. The AMT '66 Nova is the source for the chassis under this one, and yes it fit with some modification. The interior is completely scratchbuilt in a style similar to the factory configuration, but would be leather in a one to one world. I Plan on this one to be Red, with a Red Leather interior. Whitewall tires will be mounted on the wheels I am using. At this point, I still have some cuting and fitting to do before paint.
  4. A couple of years ago, I bought an empty 1963 Nova Wagon Box, to go with an F & F Resin '63 Nova Wagon I built several years back. As luck would have it, I was able to acquire a pretty clean built-up Nova Wagon to be re-done. It was missing a few pieces, but believe it or not, I had the parts to complete a nice replica stock build, in a set of resin tail lamps, and a set of resin full wheel covers. I also had a Replicas and Miniatures Chevy 6 cylinder engine for it. It's waiting its turn to be done this year. I have to decide on a color combination for it, and I may fabricate a roof rack for it. I have to find the photos of the F & F nova I did several years ago, as it came out pretty nice. It was built as a mild hot rod with a V8 engine/4-speed and a set of big and little Halibrands with a rake. I may do a "Before and After" with this one, with the before version getting a Dr. Cranky style weathering treatment.
  5. I will alter a promo, only if it was "played with, and cannot be saved. This one was scuffed up, and had a busted "A" pillar. Besides I wanted a decent '66 Hardtop, and one was not available in kit form. I am going to modify this one too, as the windshield frame is busted. I have to scratchbuild a windshield frame, and repaint it. I like the green. I will probably add and detail the chrome trim, and detail the interior too.
  6. Nice build J.C.
  7. That one brings back memories. My granddad had a green one back in the day.
  8. That is so nice. I can only hope that mine comes out looking half as good.
  9. That thing is scary cool!!!!!
  10. If you can find an AMT '62 Chevy Bel Air, I am willing to bet you that that seat will fit. For my '66 Chevy II Post sedan Project (using one of Bandit Resin's georgeous bodies), I scratchbuilt a bench seat, which is not all that difficult. Sorry, I have no pictures, and the kit is put away where I cannot get to it right away.
  11. I'm restoring a '71 AMT Torino Cobra, using the chrome and tail lamps from the Modelhaus. No one does the '71 GT yet, but this would be a good subject for Motor City, if there was really enough interest. (hint hint) Personally, I would rather have an accurate '66-'71 Ranchero.
  12. Pretty nice model Euegne!!!!!
  13. Beautiful car, Tulio. My grandmoter had a '61 Galaxie 4 Door Sedan, which I drove the day I got my driver's license. I may have to do a model of it.
  14. Excellent model!!! I once went to school down the street from Bob Banning's dealership. He had some interesting cars there to say the least. A true performance dealership.
  15. Excellent!!!!
  16. I am very impressed by your beautiful work. Please count me as a friend!!!!!
  17. I just picked up one of these to re-build. I may go with this color combo on the build. That model is HUGE!!!!!! Pictures to come later.
  18. My Dad had a '71 just like this one. I want one baaaaad!!!!!
  19. Model Car World does a photooetch set for the 1969 Charger R/T, but not the '68. A lot of the parts from the '69 set will work for the '68.
  20. Same here for the convertible, and I have a All American 2+2 Hardtop, a Missing Link Bonneville Convertible, and the AMT Bonneville and Grand Prix hardtops in the original annual and Prestige kits.
  21. Very nice!!!!!
  22. That is going to be a nice build.
  23. And there you go!!!!
  24. This is the gold standard. And I am going to build it.
