  2. O K , continue ...................... Ed Shaver
  3. I have this one myself . Problem is , I want to be very accurate as to what these cars had as I want to include it within one of my older dioramas . Ed Shaver
  4. Mike, look very closely at that Model T . It's based very very close on the A M T tool . With MINOR modifications , one can swap all the pieces unique to A M T's version and vice versa ........... Ed Shaver
  5. Give em enough rope , they eventually will. Meanwhile , the fenders are wrong on that kit . Yep, fenders are supossed to be in scale about an 8th longer . I don't care as i fixed mine easily enough when the kit was around the first time . I guess I'll buy another and try a sedan now too. Ed Shaver
  6. Once again , I will give ya'all my opinion , Yeah, mean ole racist me . Look I don't care what kind of a ride it is , DONK ain't nuthin but DORK ! Ed Shaver
  7. Great progress young man . keep up the good work .......... Ed Shaver
  8. From what photos I have seen, I'll buy one still. I want to build a clone of one I used to work on years ago. I think it'll pass the "Rivitt counters approval once I'm done ......... Ed Shaver
  9. ???????????????? I dunno............ Ed Shaver
  10. Send the counters to the TAMS contest, I know a fellow there who said he has plans for them an nope , It aint me neither . Ed Shaver
  11. Maybe we show him the Secret handshake ............. Ed Shaver
  12. That's pretty neat Steve . In time , I suppose collectors will have to have these Model T's with the Red and Green clear glass I saw in the first Tin Box issue . Ed Shaver
  13. I was at a Hobbytown briefly yesterday . I looked quickly at the box . Seems to be a re- hash of the 1965 variant which was a modified re-pop . That being , instead of a "Roll an Pleat rod interior , it went into a Biscuit Tufted affair , added a Beer Keg gasoline tank , Cragar Wheels ,two supports at the windshield , and of course the Tall T body was new . Outside of that, I can't add much. Ed Shaver
  14. Mike , me too on the sand body, prime body ............. Ed Shaver
  15. From my understanding , it is determined by the store manager as to what kits get stocked in a particular store . I;m clear across from the one Hobby Lobby in my city so going there is not a store on my list . Ed Shaver
  16. A most interesting Concept ........... Ed Shaver
  17. Lots of interesting pieces there ! Ed Shaver
  18. I'm not familiar with any parts for a Henry J . I do however recall a Die- Cast from Danbury Mint, but that was years ago. Ed Shaver
  19. David , actually you are correct . The Ford six cylinder engines were generally used probably five to one 260 V-8 during that time .It probably wasn't until about 1970 that the 302 overtook the older 200 six cylinder engine lead the lighter Falcons had held onto for so many years . Of course we all know that the Torino Ranchero's were a might heavier and didn't respond well to the 200. Ed Shaver
  20. Read the first amendment ............ Ed Shaver
  21. Gee Dave , sorry you find me so offensive ........... Ed Shaver
  22. Overall, and after looking at the few minor "Fixes " you did Steve , I can truthfully say , this is one Trumpiteer kit I might actually buy . After looking at the disaster that tried to pass for a Pontiac H T , I simply put the parts back in a box and that was several years ago. I looked at a couple of Nova Convertibles as i had a relative who owned one . That too soured me . One would have hoped the Monte Carlo wouldn't have been a sorry addition too. However , looks like those underfed Chinese slaves may have been given extra rice rations in cutting the molds . Steve , you're work is great . Ed Shaver
  23. I'm going to assume you sourced the 250 from maybe Tumpiteer's Nova . very period what all with an aftermarket air- cleaner . You might have done a "Black - wash "on the grille so as to define the openings on that better . Outside of that , it's a contender . Ed Shaver
  24. Tom, here on this forum you need a THICK skin . People take my comments and hurl them as weapons on me all the time . I'm used to it . I figure they're jealous or just plain moronic . You build these models to relieve stress and who knows , maybe get a blurb of recognition . I look only because I constantly wish to "Challenge Myself " on each new build . Ed Shaver
  25. Tony, what did you do to correct the extreme Camber angle and wayyyyyyyyy kewll on doing such a unique van ! Ed Shaver
