  2. I have known Norman a good twenty something years . The guy don't screw around . I know , not having a fancy web page does tend to make folks leerey of not dealing with a stranger . Still, I personally have used many of his parts when the need arises . Check out the "Mod Squad figures" he does sometime ! Ed Shaver Here are his Mom - Pop and the Kids being used :
  3. Hurry, summer is comming ! Stuff melts , Nights there are in the eighties ! Ed Shaver
  4. Art, given the dimensions of the box,and the two lb weight , I bet the truck will retail at 150.00 U. S. I best hope Michiaels decides to carry this one . I will have to use a coupon ! Ed Shaver
  5. Larry, years ago, I used to sell a brand of paint in 1/2 pint cans known as "Fix-All" . they sold in hardware stores like Ace. They also had Black and Brown too. You might also look into what Michiaels sell in the "Small " bottled Acrylic paints too like Folk - Art brand........ Ed Shaver
  6. Saddly, I can't provide a picture , but any of A M T's annuals from 1969 would surely rank as frameable art ......... Ed Shaver
  7. Cute sign............ Ed Shaver
  8. I know for a fact that Ed Fluck did a 60 F-100 . I saw it and I even spoke to Ed shortly before he passed away on the master , an old A M T kit was used . Seems to me that Model haus might beable to help in some regards too. Ed Shaver
  9. I know , I'm late Jarius . Look I didn't have internet yesterday , so there . Happy birthday regardless ! Ed Shaver
  10. Darrin, I read and then re- read the origional post carefully. I can see where you actually put some serious thought into you're picks . I would be a willing customer of any of these kits . Ed Shaver
  11. In fairness to everyone who thinks I'm biased towards Ford , I have had a couple of the 1968-72 Chevrolet trucks , both were converted into wreckers . Both would do the job of Any Ford and then some ! Too bad Chevrolet went so downhill after 1972. Hey style , durability, and longevity would still make me consider a decent restorable one . Ed Shaver
  12. Jeff, does this mean we MIGHT see one of you from the area to visit either a North Carolinia or heaven forbid a Virginia contest/ show ? I'm far more willing to part with my money on something I can see . Sorry but several of the revers I have read revues from have slanted their opinions as to what is an aint, take the Trumiteer 1960 Bonnivile for example ....... Ed Shaver
  13. Look, before I get more hateful "KOMMENTS" bout me being a RIGHT WINGER, uh get a couple of Michiael Savage's older books avalible through Amazon on Nutrition. I have seen both and I beleive the man knew then what he espoouses now on his radio show when he aint preachin politics . Now I have a somewhat high heart rate , I have to watch my diet too. I'm also aware of my Emphazemiea and that dosen't help a lot neither . Still, Im very proud of you all for at least taking a self motivated step and trying to do something for you're own health !!!!!!! Hoo Wray!!!!!!!!!!!! Ed Shaver
  14. Hey folks, check out Norman's "Mod Squad figgures from the 1950 Mercury kit Aurora made in the late 60's . Nuff said ! Ed Shaver
  15. This looks like part of the stanchion bases from A M T Prestege kits back in the late 1980's . I might have a couple ...... Ed Shaver
  16. Real cars are at a minimum 20 feet long, have tail fins, V-8 and I can wear muh Stetson in one ....... Anything else is an abortion ! Ed Shaver
  17. so are confederate flag decals too............... Ed Shaver
  18. Mike , in my day, we thought that was better than any Balsa wood kit ! Ed Shaver
  19. Now ya'll be speakin evil bout fuel, the Ecoveggies want us all to tap into the Stratigic Oil reserve so we can deplete it and go to a bycicle ......... Racing gasoline is already high enough. Don't give these idiots anything more to whine about ! Ed Shaver
  20. I just wish they had sent out scribe lines inside the body so we stock and stock hight folks could have had the option. Look, some of us have built "Stock- Hight street rods such as I did for an employer in 1989............. Ed Shaver
  21. Here are two posters , already sized to fit a 1-24th wall. One depicts gasoline rationing in W W II and another Jalopy race in Winston Salem North Carolinia . Feel free to copy them off and use them ......... Ed Shaver Now for UNSIZED : Ya'all enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I had to give up after 40 seconds . The person who shot the vidieo was "Panning "so fast , it was making my head spin . Hey slow down so we ole Geezers can actually view a model or two ! Ed Shaver
  23. An I thought I had it bad . heck, spending a month in a Nursing home , two months in a dang hospital an now tied to an I. V bag sheesh..... Ed Shaver
  24. Hummmmm, uh 150 grit sand paper might do the trick . I never used it though. If it were me , I might go for a textured paint as a used car lot would have a terrible surface as in most cases . hey, keep it real, some small pot holes , patches , Common. I used to seal coat parking lots part time back in Dallas . You have to go photograph a REAL lot . Ed Shaver
  25. Now Ron, put grease an grime in it . Too many of these Roofless dioramas are wayyyyyyyyyy too sterile ! Hell, I bet ole A J Foyts guys can't keep his personal shop as Kleen as I have seen some of these dioramas . Oh , I once knew Mr. Foyt too. yep, shop was nice and clean to a point ....... Ed Shaver
