  1. Now ya'all see why I build service stations and gasoline pumps . Ed Shaver
  2. You asked remember ........ ? With the exception of the hidieous wheels I really really like it ! Ed Shaver
  3. Some great looking work there ! Still I would go back and run the exaust out from the mufflers to actually exit past the body. I wouldn't want to suffocate from the fumes even as a 1-25th scale driver . Ed Shaver

Mercman, I used to own a 50 Murcury with a genuine Mer- O- matic ! Mine was raven Black too. Great running car. I shouldn't have sold that one . I still run a 51 merc in my 53 Ford truck though . Ed Shaver

mercman , great start ! Now show us more . Gives me something to look at besides muh own stuff......... I like the fact that you're working in the smaller scale . The building looks great and my eyes arent too good anymore . Thats why I stay in 1-25th scale. Ed Shaver
  6. Whew.............. I'm busy doing a Crown Central station now . I finially nailed down some obscure - "We accept Crown Checks " signs too. Meanwhile I'm also cloning some Top Value trading stamp promotionals too......... Ed Shaver
  7. Gary, Impcon ............ uh M C M finishes does an outstanding job of their 1962 Pontiac Tempest Station wagon and it's a complete kit ! You would do well to check out their 2 door post conversions like their 65 Chevrolet Biscayne and their 62 Pontiac Catillinia . Ive seen a lot of their stuff and it's first rate product .Model Car World finishes , Ed sez 4 hubcaps ! Ed Shaver
  8. Impcon heres my latest model, a replicia of a 1954 Plymouth Belvedere Wagon : I bought this body off Jody , Smart resins very inexpensively. Im a member of the Station wagon forums so I got a lot of research help there . Ed Shaver
  9. Art, hopefully these folks will get both the Chrysler and the Hudson "Correct ". I'm tired of reading at least from the "Arm Chair " engineers that THIS or THAT isn't dead on the money . Hopefully , the positives will outweigh the negitives here and the kits will become a finiancial sucess and these twirps wil be too busy building their pristene examples well into 2012 when everything comes to a complete stand still anyway .Ed Shaver
  10. Sorry to hear of the health issues there Pat. Get well soon . Ed Shaver
  11. Thats interesting , a Hudson with a Carson top............. Ed Shaver
  12. Uh speak fer yersef there Ryan ...... i'm building another full service service station . Ed Shaver
  13. No Jim, thank you sir for stepping to da plate when I needed some shrink tube !!!!!!!!!!! Ed Shaver
  14. Craig, from looking at you're pictures , I would say I have several ideas . You seem to like competition , pit crew scenes , and overall " Back - Yard " vinettes. You need to focus on a peticular scene, building and look . Go to a race , a car show and study others garages . Me, I do actual service stations that I can verify the building plans and the actual building if at all possible . I've done some small dioramas for Meuseuems in both Texas and Virginia . For my own enjoyment , I prefer doing the service stations from start to finish . Then too, unique archecture wins me out every time . I have always been a fan of "Kitch " archecture . For example Randy's Do- nuts in the Peterson meuseuem in Los Angles with the giant do- nut on the roof. Ed Shaver
  15. This is what we can expect from the new Government mota company ????????? Ed Shaver

  19. Gee, I think I know the charicter that built that kit !!!!!!!!! hisss name is .................... KITBASH ! Ed Shaver
  20. Art, had this comment come from too many others that post here , I wouldda blown it off. Now with that said and having talked to you personally on the phone , I know you're for real . You must remember the "Ya gotta buy a case of these Komments made by several Dubious model kit critics at ANOTHER MAGAZINE years past . Sorry but that cost me a wasted trip to the hobby store to buy an over priced 1960 Bonniville H T that looked like a cartoon charicter ! Seeing as this Moebious company seems to be a real concern , and you're timely revue , I might actually allow my guard down long enough to trust somebody besides ole A M T and Revell. Ed Shaver
  21. Gee, Carl, I bet you've spent time in the winter in and around Dallas Texas ! Some great work there sir ! Ed Shaver

  24. Hummmmmmmm, sounds like that prototype Chrysler with the Cantelevered roof ............ Ed Shaver
  25. This is the kit A M T SHOULD have re- done and marketed back to us !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead , we got a pitiful excuse for a kit back in 1998 Calling itself a 60 Chevrolet truck ! Ed Shaver
