  1. Curtis, I haven't seen that georgeous box since 1965 ! You got a keeper there son . Don't get rid of that one . have some fun with it . That kit came with the cycle wheel to make it look as though the Motor Trend boys were testin it . and some kwel phylons and lots of options to of course customize the car with. Ibuilt mine stock and thenpainted it as close to Evening Orchid as I could . That was a lavender with a Black interior . yes , you could have bought such a ride like that in 65. Ed Shaver

  3. Greg, first I know this isn't Primarily Petrolinia @ old gas.com . Still , how bout a section where we "Diner , Drive - In and service station fanatics get a real section ..... not the same ole Put a rusty piece of a model on a wood base an call it a diorama either . I know I'm one of a select minority as when I do a diorama , I'm on that piece to re create an actual place that actually does / did exist . Ed Shaver

  5. Nick, I'm curious . Why would you want a "Small Back Window " cab . They were in reality too small to work with . Thats the main reason you never ever saw them . In 1970, you got the "Big " window regardless. Ed Shaver
  6. I was in San Diego once back in 1973. I remember Balboa park too. I'm real glad to see that the city saw fit to do a transportation meuseuem as the automobile in California is shall we say hand in hand . Thank you for sharing your experences with us .   7. Robert , if memory servesme correctly, I think they were still running a 19" rim on those trucks until 1936. Ed Shaver
  8. 35 Ford with a scratch built soda box and trailer Body was a R & R Vacum cast Sedan delivery made from origional A M T annual . That kit had a shell for the custom version ladders were scratch built and they actually work . The cabinet in the back is made to be a kitchen counter Ed Shaver

  10. Mr. Rodgers reminds nme of a couple of ijits that unfournately belong to my Home NAZI ASSOCIATION BOARD. First I have no use for home owners associations either . You'r diorama looks so much more like my world when I still lived in the inner city of Houston . Great work ! Ed Shaver

  12. Steve , you have never seen a Vintage set of Goggles being worn along with the leather helmet and scarf ? Please .............. You sir have never experenced a GOOD rod run then ! The wind whipping at yer head , the fell of the open road ! Wow , yiou really need to build a 1-1 open car and have that experence . This model should provide you with the inperation , go for it !   18. John , I vaugely remember M P C doing a Sports car type Toyota back about 1967-8. It was a real bear to assemble but I do remember it having a full inline engine . Ed Shaver

  25. Steve, I'm always glad to see a piece to make a model a "Mainstream " car . I only wish that the kit makers would do these MINOR pieces to add to the kit in the first plase as the costs in my opinion wouldn't be that expensive . Take for example the Small block hood Replicias and Miniatures does for the 69 Corvette . As much as I like Norman Veber''s work , it certainly wouldn't break the Revell bank to do both hoods !
