  1. These tractors give me hope that MAYBE I'll see a Ford 8- 0r 9N model
  2. L2 Right : AMT Leva Car , Hubley 1960 Ford Country Squire wagon , AMT 1961-3 Ford F-100 , AMT 1961-2 Buick Special wagon . all these subjects are in the "Obscure " category , thus rendering them not popular enough to resurrect
  3. I gotta buy one of these simply cause it will make for a PERFECT Yuppie car in one of my dioramas !
  4. Thank you Loyd ! I'm now doing a couple more buildings from Richmond Virginia and the same era . I haven't been able to dedicate as much time on them as I'm currently in a new movie and i'm also promoting a new book
  5. The Model and the album did come out within close proximity of each other
  6. I have often wondered myself could this be done , especially given the Coupe roof .
  7. Rob , I believe YOU NAILED IT!!!!!!
  8. Steve makes a GOOD point . I was in the auto collision business and the ones that like the Ditzler book , they're mostly accurate
  9. NICE job on the "Water " JC ......
  10. Bruce , it's more uptight . Right now , it's loose so I can install windows . It will be corrected once I get all the parts in place . I finally got an interview just yesterday with one of the family who actually owns the building . I need to get up to the Third floor and photograph the Turret .
  11. Brad , thank you ! I'm just disappointing that the church who currently owns this property still after two decades wants NOTHING to do with this buildings efforts . I've been in contact with Virginia Commonwealth university and they at least have an appreciation for having the model on a possible loan
  12. I was invited to an event at an art Gallery in Washington DC this past Saturday , 3-30-2019. I chose to bring a new book I'm promoting as well as the model of the Crossroads Coffee house . Considering the crowd , I'd say the event was a rousing success and i look forward to returning with something different next year . I was interviewed by the Washington Blade magazine on building this by Molly Byron
  13. Todd, I used to live North of ya in Cave Junction ! I'm trying to currently relocate in Bend . I still have friends in Ashland , Cave Junction and Grants Pass . perhaps we can meet up
  14. Things have slowed Tom. I'm promoting a new book I proof read on amazon and in two weeks , a movie I'm in premieres at the Virginia Film festival ......
  15. Supplies , well SOME supplies finally arrived . I'm in Washington DC for 3-30 at a showing of a previous diorama . If yer close , P-M me and I'll pass details .
  16. I'm actually quite surprised no one has done this as a plastic kit . Going back to the Slot car madness of the mid 60's , I think it was Cox who had a vacuum formed body .

    A crate?

I can think of several uses for this project you built .....
  18. While the front isn't 100% , it's close to what I want . I've gone around the side to re crate the chimneys and stain Glass details .
  19. The river stone is most interesting !!!!
  20. ICM has done some outstanding work in this area . I hope they might do some more Civilian sorta 1960's people . I bought all one vendor had last week at a show as I never know what my museum customers might want to add ....
  21. Yordan , it's wayyyyyy too late now , but in the future , when you are doing a "Rounded arch entryway , you MIGHT consider doing similar 30 degree arched window reveals I'f I'm i'm not making sense , look at the arched reveals on the second floor for a clarification .
  22. Since I posted this morning , I have to "Color the wood so that it looks like Slate . I'll show something soon as I was back ordered a couple of weeks on the shingles and I need to have this finished out by mid May
