Thanks for looking guys. I added a rear end for the bumper. Had to add two stripes of styrene to the rear fenders to get a better look. Also i will try to bring on my first own hinges...hope it will work... Have a good time guys...

You´re right David i first plan without a bumper but then i decided to bring on a chrome bumper to get some contrast to the paint. Thank you! Thanks Guys now i see the differences more clear. Tom the clean bench will change her style soon...:-)

Thank you Tom. Finally my new workbench is ready and i love it. Time to build....I had to round up the rear window a bit. I cut off some wheel rims and put them on. I also have to choose a rear bumper.

Very nice Projekt. I´ve build the Revell Merc. It was a funbuild but as you i decided to make my own version of a choped version in the future. In my mind the old fashioned AMT Kits are not very detailed but the have the old school spirit...:-)

As a car coachbuilder in real life i´ve allways admired Guys like Gene Winfield, George Barris, Bill Hines and all the other great american custom builders. They brought me to building model cars. So Custom Cars of the good old days are still my favorite. I started this 51´Chevy (can somebody explain my german brain the differernce between the old AMT Bel Air Deluxe and Fleetline Kits?) in 2003 and hope to get it finished in 2020. They elder pics are from my old house and my old workbench. I found out things changed a little bit since 2003. More new tools, paints and of course more internet to find some references. So i hope u enjoy.

I love this classic custom work. Great job. How did you fix the "cut-off" sectioned bodyparts?Did you put a strip of styrene to hold them better?

Hello Guys, after 14 years speending my time with other more or less important things i decided to get back to the hobby. My last post here was in 2008 i think. Actually im building up my new workroom so i can only show some of my last old projekts i finished (which is a problem because i dont finish much).
