  1. This is great! Looks like they have the “77/‘78 hood stripe in there too!
  2. Thanks guys! This kit IMO is very underrated and was rewarding to build!
  3. Great job Christian!
  4. Those of you who have this kit, are the new Atlantis tires bigger than the originals from Revell? They always looked a little small to me.
  5. Have we seen any indications on what is happening with the decals in this kit? I am really interested to see what options we have this time around.
  6. That looks great! I too would be interested in the color code for the paint. I have been looking for this color since Testors stopped their custom lacquer series line.
  7. Very nice!
  8. Super nice build and pictures Chuck!
  9. Oh, and where is the new Corvette?
  10. Really excited to see the 79 Camaro kit back again, and with the z28 parts AND the stock flat hood. Very nice! Hopefully we get some new Z28 decals as well, maybe in new colors…. Like green? Will there be chrome parts or is that a thing of the past?
  11. Need the body, hood and other trim for the below kit. Maybe other parts as well. Someone replaced the ZR1 parts with the 2006 kit. thanks
  12. Thanks everyone!
  13. Thanks! Fantastic job on yours as well! Thanks for sharing! I may or may not have used pictures of your as reference during my build. ??
  14. This one was built pretty much straight from the kit, except for making it a bench seat in the back and adding wires and throttle linkages. The color is glacier blue metallic, which is correct. Overall it was a pretty fun build with no issues except the driver side tire rubs against the fender if you don’t adjust it.
  15. Any word on the `79 Z/28?
  16. Thanks for all of the kind words guys. I apologize for not having pictures of the back of the car. Here is one just before I pack it away.
  17. I built this from the ‘86 Revell Monte Carlo kit and added Rays decals. The rear end has been updated to and ‘87, which took a little more effort than you would think to get perfect. The tires are from the 77Trans am MPC kit, which are smaller but still look a little too big, IMO. I took a step back on the detailing, as I had limited time to get this done.
  18. Does anyone know of a source to get decals like the below? There are stripes the run up along the top edge of each front fender and door and then meet over the roof of the car:
  19. is there anyone who makes a 77 to 78 Firebird ram air hood? I’m looking for a hood like the one below. I have been looking everywhere but can’t seem to find something like this. Thanks.
  20. Same here… Really interested to hear what options we will have in this kit.
  21. Is it possible? The risks are obvious, but I am trying to avoid stripping the paint if possible. One of the panel lines is just a little too shallow, and I have a few more coats of paint to apply. The line is there, I just want it to be a little deeper. If anyone has a trick to accomplish this safely, it is much appreciated. Thanks!
  22. Thanks Zoom. I noticed your trim ring looks slightly different compared to Perspective Custom’s above. Are yours 14” or 15”?
  23. Thanks for the advice everyone. Does anyone happen to have pictures of Chiefs or Scale Equipments wheels on their models? I just want to get an idea of the size and offset.
  24. Thanks guys! Very cool the Fireball has them, as he has been great to deal with with other items. Does his trim rings come chromed already?
  25. I am searching for wheels like the below. I have been searching high and low, but have not been able to found them on any of my kits or any of the kits from that era. Surely some kit has these?
