i am working on mine as we speak i decided that the rear engine deserves a radiator aswell (one of the reasons i didnt go turbo is because i have nowhere to put the radiator AND the IC) those of you who remember the fiasco where i tried to wire a certain ford engine will recognize the radiator hoses

hey guys i have a capitol idea im sure most of you know joe had some cleaning up to do and he send out a TON of kits so some of us, his fellow modelers this post is mainly directed to those who recieved multiple kits from him but open to anyone who is interested this is what i want to do: we will have a build of that is open for any car that came from joe (i guess if you didnt get a car from joe but you still want to enter that is cool) i would suggest a 1-2 dollar buy in (depending on how many people join, i think we would need a 10 dollar budget) we will set a date for when it needs to be done and once it is done all those who participated will be allowed to vote which car is best and that car will then be mailed to joe as a thank you from all of us who got a car from him. my entry will be a 66 ford fairlaine GT/GTA

the wifey stopped in at the LHS a while ago and bought me some LEDs to build a drag tree i think 10 of em were 14 dollars ? they are 1.5 volt i believe

wow thats cool if i were to say something negative about it it would have to be the size of the tires, they look skinny for the amount of horsies they are going to have to handle but the overal car looks great very nice backdrop aswell makes it look very realistic

thanks i had a really hard time making that kit look halfway decent and there are certain angles that i cant show it from because its such a bad fit massive gaps between the fenders and inner fenders

same here though all of em were born to the inlaws and most of em were born before i married into the family it still counts and on top of that, im the "cool" uncle i taught them to fish, how to build a fire, how to make smores and im slowly but surely ushering the oldest into scale modeling so far he build 4 models a snaptite corvette a snaptite dodge viper a snaptite concept camaro and just last week i had him over for the weekend and he finished up his "easy builder" cop-out duster there is no way (btw) that that kit is a easy builder, not with that drag linkage and suspension, level 2 at the very least but he finished it and im sure to post pics when i get a chance too now, what were we talking about again

here is mine this is the AMT/ERTL 79 kit and it is absolute junk
