only truck i got done 53 ford F100 custom truck with a flathead engine and expirimental radiator hose plug wires and some im working on 57 VW bug with a custom blown GTI engine and from under the workbench, a dodge L700

my two most used methods are fire (if im in a hurry and just wingin it) and a pot of very hot water just submerge the part for a few minutes and then it should be bendable

man, you should have asked me 10 years ago i was working at the time for a comapny called "motoren revisie techniek" and we had a rally team our driver had wone 2 belgium national titles and a score of WRC events at any rate, we were moving up from our group N bracket to a RWC bracket and we replaced our worn out evos and suby WRXs for toyota corolla RWCs long story short, i think i threw 3 or 4o of them out because they were fiberglas bodies that attached to the cars hood and were molded to fit the evos we were replacing back on topic, that is a great looking car i have always found this one of the best looking (and performing) fords ever build and you represented it well the only thing i would suggest is trying to ad some wear and tear , or maybe mud to the body excellent job on the tires by the way, those things looks great

mine wil sit a little higher on its wheels aswell because im building a custom ladder frame and thought tubbing it was just to much work also, i didnt wanna cut up my bed, i put a lot of work into it allready you see

i would suggest stopping in at a local menards shop if there isnt any mear you i think lowe's or similair might carry the part you need, but i know i bought mine at menards i actually also got my first aribrush after a decade of abscence there it is a very simple single action brush , gravity fed, that cost me 25 dollars and came with several feet of hose AND the adapter you need you know, i would actually suggest getting that brush for a starter i mean, at that price, you cant really go wrong

excellent question to be honoust, i never had to deal with it because i always apply my decals before i apply my clear coat so i never buf the decal, only the clear paint that sits on top of it

i want to vote but i would have to know how much chrome will be on the body IMHO woodgrain with chrome will be the way to go UNLESS there is hardly any chrome on the body then go with body coloured framing but i think a nice cherry wood stain and chrome will look awesoem with candy apple red (to give you an idea, here is the bed on my VW pickup with a maple stain)

ahh those were the days i remember when those cosworhts RS2000s were a force to be reckoned with in the rally fields (werent they sold in the US as merkurs ?) close, but no, this wing came with the revell ford focus SVT tuner it fits extremely well on the RSX though

the rear end sits so high because i couldnt be bothered to tub it i mean, look at that bed, its real wood stained to perfectly match the interior trim of my house lodged in between styrene I beams covered in BMF i thought it be a shame to cut that just to slam it

not sure about your striping question, do you want a solid gold stripe or do you want to fade it in ? either way i think your best bet would be to airbrush it either that or get some BMF in gold as for the chrome rims, grab yourself a little siplock baggy and toss them in there then spray on some easy-off over cleaner and let it sit for a minute or so that will take that chrome right off then you just rinse it and again airbrush the gold on just make sure you do it right the first time so you dont have to make three separate posts..i mean...atempts

(assuming you mean mine) i cans ee where you are comming from under normal circumstances i would never use a wheel like that on a truck of any sort i think the only wheels that look good on trucks are chromed metal, never alloys but i really needed the rear differential that cam with the supra and i allready had these wheels attached to it so i didnt think i could salvage the rear dif. without the wheels

well, i wanted to get my first coat of primer on today so here it is no where near done but im pretty pleased with the progress so far i need to ad a tiny bit of bondo on (mainly) the passenger rear qauter) and i need to do some sanding all over but it is starting to look like a truck i have also figured out the drivetrain 1.8 16valve GTI motor with a custom turbo attached to the rear differential of a 95 toyota supra the rims came from the supra and the front axle is a spare on from a very early ford let me know what you guys think
