speaking of breaking rules as we speak the glue on the turbo and intercooler for my FOURBANGER is drying i also gutted the radiator out of an old eclipse so i can run it on the wildcart i also added a little more putty to the body, hopefully that will fill the gaps and soon she'll be ready for paint i also wanted to start one more sentence with "i also" i also talked to a board member about getting some custom decals for the cart

wait wait wait 1394 posts and this is your FIRST in under glass ? you are slacking young grashopper i know theres more you got to show us so get too it (cool caddy by the way, its always nice if we can use our talents to make mom happy)
-
i like the engine the entirior looks nice too, good ratio of blue/black not sure if i agree with the black windshield though i've found that actual window tint works best
-
thanks the lift actually came with the garage set i bought and was going to build as a diorama but when i opened the box it turned out the floor space would only be about one sqaure foot so i designed the garage around the tools from the set the trailer was part of a kit i got from the wifey a while ago and it is usually displayed in the living room (im only allowed one kit on display so untill i build my semi with 6 car hauler the ford pickup with trailer and a car on there is a good cheat) i always ad it to the garage for shoots as background clutter
-
thats awesome vol, i didnt know you're a spartan aswell GO WHITE
-
that is an excelent idea but it is the model equivelant of dividing by 0 if i make a functional door i will need to also make something that is behind that door, like an alley or a parking lot and then i would have to make a front to the building to showcase cars driving from said alley/parking lot into the garage so i figured ill just make a closed door so it doesnt look like the cars were just airdropped in to the garage
-
i would if i thought it would make it better but the kit is a complete junker i mean, you can see the gap in the driver side inner fender, without major plastic surgery there is no hope also, i build it as a present for my father in low so the TA is no longer in my posesion thanks, i did a lot of custom work on it but i'm pretty pleased the way it came out the garage is only about 2 by 2 by 2 foot but all the cars are in 1/24 scale so it looks a lot bigger i still need to ad a ton more of stuff to it, including a closed roll up door
-
i remember having one of those nice little car V6 5 speed manual with the sport package leather all power all options the only FWD i ever had that would kick the rear end in turns like a RWD pretty sweet ride untill i figured out you cant go 3 wide down 16th street
-
that is an excelent looking duster young nicholas i actually helped my nephew (also called nicholas) buid one of these earlier this year and there is no way that kit is an "easy builder" (thats how his was marked) or even a level two great job also, congrats on picking the mopar side, excelent choice

i remember growing up in the old country a friend of mine had a toyota pajero i have been told they were rebadged in the US on the account of the hispanic population, i guess there is a certain meaning to "pajero" in spanish
-
thats just about what i want my 56 vic to look like (only in pearl bleu/white) nice job
-
and finally the 53 ford F100 with matching trailer some of the custom touches are the grille, flathead V8, stacks from the dodge lil red truck bullet nerfs, rear roll pan, custom 2 tone paint, custom tailgate my very first tub job and my state of the art experimental 1inch sparkplugs wires and matching mopar ralleys on both the truck and trailer the garage shown in the background is my very first diorama i still have to ad a ton of detail but its getting there (one day i might even put the lift in)

well, like i said, the prospects of actually getting some more work done on any of the five models currently under my bench are slim to none with the wife being pregnant and me finishing up the basement and all on top of that i have been lasting Christmass music for the last 2 weeks now so i guess its time so...here is my class of 2009 acura RSX type-S with front and rear engine i build this car as my entry into the drift car build off and even though i havent 100% finishied it (still needs an exhaust) and i havent gotten the full picture shoot done yet but i decided to include her anyway also included in the first two picture is thunder alley, the second diorama i ever build next up, 1979 pontiac firebird trans-am this was BY FAR the worst kit i ever build, even worse then the dodge L-700 i bought the kit of ebay and it was also mising the taillights and the decals but i got her somewhat done this one is much better, the revell challenger, cant go wrong with this kit the paint job was inspired by a camaro i saw on here it was my first "tricky" paintjob i used some sections of an old screendoor to tape the scales off somewhere along the lines i lost the taillight lenses and so i had to paint them on
-
and some stuff thats still coming the 57 VW beetle pickup and since it is ALL about the engine (the VW will have a custom turbo'd GTI engine) here is the mill that will go (one day) into my 56 ford civ....a blown 427 the second biggest engine i ever slapped in a car (see the focus)
-
exactly but having said that, just keep in mind it is always more fun to drive a slow car fast then a fast car slow and also, since we seen to have moved away from the souped up muscle cars and included the factory rides i found one or two more 1979 firebird TA 1970 challenger RTA (sexy in primer isnt she?) and in paint hemi 'cuda (these next pics are older and therefore taken with an older camera)
-
ford focus SVT (i know, its a ford AND a focus so its technically not a hotrod but i figured the blown 572 made up for that)
-
well here are a few of mine 1974 plymouth GTX the sardine challenger 1972 Z-28 camaro
-
i have been working very hard unfortunatly most of that work has gone to the house and updating my heavy metal christmass album just for the the record : theocracy is AWESOME their music rocks and every year they put out a free christmass track but i digest i havent had anytime to work on the truck but in my defence if i make the deadline i am only 4 out of 5 rules i can break....and i want this to be perfect

well, the thinner/needle aproach usually works for me but you have just discovered the #1 reason i save the nozzles when i throw out the empty can must have a drawe full of them also, make sure you clean them by holding the can upside down and spraying it (without shaking it ofcourse) untill you dont see paint coming out anymore
