  1. its cool, its pretty much inevitable that we all do some things the same, makes it intresting to see how we all put our own spin on things your looks like its halfway in a liftoff its not a wheelstander deathracer is it ?
  2. they are not actually from a warthog, i found them in the partsbox they were a set from a dragster, you know the kind that have them come of the side ? like on jungle jims funny car i just modded them to make them fit but once they were in i noticed how much they looked like a warthog specially with the hood in place (hoodscoop kinda looks like nostrils right ? i guess mine will have 5...maybe more
  3. yep, you can scavange a military kit, you just cant enter a out of the box military kit so those tracks will do just fine
  4. im not using any military kits iethers, everything is partsbox or one off there is always room for one more cant wait to see the gatling, ima build one too, its gonna be tricky so...uhm...what colour will yours be ? i wanna ad some scuff marks to my bumper, and since you said yours needed damage
  5. looks awesome it makes it a lot easyer to paint that tub seeing how it came in pieces il post a pic of mine pretty soon to, im costum building the sides and BMFing it with alu foil
  6. got the front wheels on (dropped the passenger side just a hair) back ones are just sitting for now i think i like this stance enough clearance to do some serious ofroading also added some more engine parts (still not complete though) any comments on the warthog headers?
  7. ill make sure we race at a track with 5 degree banks and that escalade will tip itself over once it hits 8 MPH lol also guys, welcome jarheadndn to the clash
  8. just mocked up the wheels and drivetrain the front is all set but i still want to bring up that rear end a little bit im looking to get that "nose in the air" stance that makes it look like shes under full acceleration
  9. i dont think i like the car itself but i love what you've done with it it looks awesome
  10. whats in the crate ? secret weapon ?
  11. yeah, mine wont have room for a passenger, thats where i keep my foton torpedos
  12. i could put a second line under the WIP thread specifiying it as WIP olny, if we can get kasteer to do the same to this one only have this one say "of topic jibber jabber"
  13. i made one so far, but it is not technically a piano hinge i just gleud a section of 1/8 styrene tube to the roof of the car put a little steel wire through it got a piece of styrene sheet and drilled two holes in it put the wire through the holes and glue the plate to the door all done
  14. my flamethrower is mounted in a turret it has a full 360 degree radius several thousands in farenheit though
  15. its a lousy pic, sorry for that but that is not a keg, its a nitrous tank and its not a gun, its a flame thrower
  16. mine is a carboard box wiht the top and front removed
  17. i cant beleive youre actually slapping glas in that puppy nice work on that engine, it will make an awesome boatanchor now so chek out my progress and if you think im running this car with a 16 gallon firebomb strapped to my chassis, think again
  18. use the glass from mythbusters (those who know what i mean know what i mean)
  19. excelent choice we should see if we can do a few runs at the 1/4 mile before we try and kill each other i bet mine will do 17 second runs easy , what with all that extra armour
  20. very well its for the death race build off and i didnt think it was a good idea to run with a 16 gallon firebomb strapped to the chassis (im really just posting it cos im pretty proud of how it looks, specially painted black its hard to tell its a one off
  21. spot the difference between the before and after picture before and after awnser: that's right, i removed the fuel tank i am NOT entering this race with a 16 gallon fore bomb strapped to my chassis
  22. i absolutely love that conversion kit must be one of the best bodies i've ever seen keeps it up man
  23. it all depends on how sentimental you feel i for one have two models i recently redid (one a mach 1 mustang that got a better paint and detail job and one a F body camaro that got a vinyl top) both of them were early build i was never very proud of so i was glad to rebuild them the wife actually likes having some of my older models on the shelf because it shows my progress she says (i think she just like to laugh at them) thats another issue, is the valiant on display ? one of the reasons i will rebuild cars is because i have limited display space so i like to have the best ones out
  24. i want to say the park was owned and operatied by a corporation, not a military, so i would allow the benz (also, it rocks) that beast is starting to look awesome you are going to paint it green and white right ? go green, go white, go spartaaaaaans i was (and still am) planning to gulwing mine aswell looks like i got a mark to hit now i think it is gonna be pretty kewl to see how we all tackle these issues in a different way here are some progress pics, i mocked up most of the engine and the bumper how did that saying go, if you cant dodge it ? darned, ima a plymouth oh well i still need to bondo and smoothed out the bumper but i like the general lines so far
  25. that would fall under military kits you can bash it, but not build it
