  1. Thanks guys. The window trim is foil. The decals area set that I got a few years ago off ebay, I believe they were a set of Billy Gooch but not 100% sure on that. It's not perfect but looks good on the shelf.
  2. Don Grotheer Pro Stock Built with the Sox and Martin Cuda Kit. All colors are painted not decals. Wheels are off Ebay by seller t.m.resin. Rear tires are kit with Slixx Firestone decals and kit Drag 500 decals then dullcoted. Front tires are parts box that I cleaned up sidewall to take lettering off and then Slixx Firestone decals and dullcoted
  3. Here are pictures of the Two Cuda's and there racing brother. Lemon Twist Mod Top See topic in Drag Racing section for there racing brother - Don Grotheer Cuda ProStock http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93287
  4. Finally got back on the Mod Top. Just finished assembly and need to do some touch up. I will try and get some pics up very soon. Alot of people have talked about the Revell 70 Cuda but , I have built 3 of them so far and I love the kit. Is it perfect no but it is still a very presentable model. It is much better then there prior attempts. Thank you Revell.
  5. Not to stir things up but, it can't be a clone of the Daytona 500 Winner because the Belvedere trim is not down the side which is clearly visible in photographs of the day. I'm not saying it's not accurate clone, its just not a clone of the 500 Winner. From everything I have read and information gathered, the car started life as a Light Blue 64 Belvedere off the a new car lot and was transformed into a racecar. The chassis, underhood paint was still the factory light blue and the factory met. blue interior was intact to make it look more stock to try and overshadow the non-factory stock engine since, the Hemi were not sold new in the showroom to the public. Then as the year progressed, the factory interior came out and flat panel installed. Look at the photo attached, you can see that the interior is a different color than Petty Blue. Look at the next picture and you can see the inner fenders under the hood where lighter in color than the exterior.
  6. Here's a link to a tread I started when I was working on mine. I have gotten sidetracked with mine but, I have found that early in the season the car had stock interior panels and that the interior was not Petty Blue. Later in the season the interior panels went away and things became Petty Blue inside. It all depends on what car and what race you are looking at building. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88337&hl=petty
  7. Is there a good source for a fuel pump for the Hilborn Fuel Injection setup on the mid 60's drag cars?
  8. Since Revell went drag racing with the 2nd release of the 1970 Cuda with Sox and Martin, maybe the 2nd release of the 1967 Camaro will be this.
  9. Anything new on this? Just wondering.

  11. Wasn't the Trans-Am cars 302 cu in and not 396 cu in?
  12. For those that have been wondering if anyone has built one. Here is one I have been working on slowly. I taped and painted all colors on body then cleared and polished it out. Then added decals that I had pruchased a long time ago. Not perfect but will do as a test build prior to buildign it as a Sox and Matin car. Not the best pciture just taking quickily with my phone. NO height adjustament made this is how it sits out of the box with the exception of wheels, and front tires.

  15. The only pictures that come up for in a google search is the 65 car. I am looking to build the 1964 hardtop.
  16. Thanks Jon. I have read where the 64 Lightweight Hardtops could be had with any interior color where the Lightweight Sedans all had red interiors so, I wasn't sure.
  17. This about the only color picture of the 64 Hardtop that I have been able to find. Picture from Facebook - The Chrysler Package Cars. But, I still am not sure about interior color.
  18. Don't forget the 66 Baccaruda long nose Barracuda. Model Car World Automotive Finishes has a resin kit for it.

I have a small b/w picture that came the Fred Cady Decals but I was ooking for a little bit bigger picture. Does anyone have any info on this car? Color Interior? Hemi? 426 Wedge?

  22. Nice. I don't believe I have seen that one built before. Thanks for sharing
  23. Look at the attached link for list of cars Joe Mannix drove. http://www.tvacres.com/autos_plymouth_mannix.htm
  24. http://mikesdecals.com/
  25. If you look in the front wheel opening, below, behind the front wheel, it looks like some kind of structure in there like it might be simliar to the Sedan. These are from a website I found that has pictures of the Altered Sedan as it was being restored but I am not sure if the Hardtop was the same or not. Website in which I found the restored pics from http://hiteautobodyandrestoration.com/projects/main.php. They also have pictures of the 71 Sox and Martin Cuda and 71 Dick Landy Challenger.
