  3. Next I have the early paint scheme 1964 Comet Model King 64 Comet Revell Thunderbolt chassis, engine Resin Hood Testors - White Slixx Decals
  4. Here are few of my Ronnie Sox cars in my collection. Have more to do, just need the time to do them. While taking these pictures, I noticed I should rebuild a couple of them and a few things to finish up on them as well. I have the 1962 Impala, 1963 Impala, 1965 AWB Hardtop, 1970 Cuda,Dakota Prostock, Omni Prostock, Colt Prostock, 1968 Cuda, 1969 Cuda all lined up or already in the works. First up - 1962 Chevy Bel Air Amt Kit MCW Automotive Finishes Roman Red Paint and decals.
  5. Yeah, didn't realize its been so long. Wow having 2 small children really makes time fly.
  6. 50's and 60's Mopars that have not been kitted before or in a long time. Some 30's and 40's Mopars would be cool as well.
  7. Thanks guys for the comments. Bill, actually the decals had the strips on them but everything I had seen showed the red strips to be a "candy" color with the lettering being a straight red. Not sure if it's just the pictures I've have seen or my eyes. I decided to try and paint the strips Tamiya Mica Red for the "candy" look and the color matched pretty close from the Ramchargers name to the painted stirps. Just no "candy" to the lettering. Here's a picture of the decals I used from Scale Racing Replicas. One thing I noticed while decalsing the model was, that the TEAM CAR lettering seemed to be a different size from side to side on the decals. Still decals were some of the best that I have used.
  8. I need to get back on this to finish it up. Need to find it first though.
  9. Got the decals from Scale Racing Replicas on the body. First time using their decals, worked great.
  10. Thank you. I was worried how the ModTop decal would lay down but, it worked out pretty good. Been thinking about a '69 Barracuda ModTop for awhile now. Might have to soon get that started. All the Cudas look great. Thanks for sharing. For people complainingabout the kit it sure does build up nicely I think.
  11. Started to paint up a body for the Ramchargers Cuda Super Stock. Primed and painted with Tamiya Paints. White primer, Pure White and Mica Red. I purchased the Quarter Mile Replicas decal sheet for this car but once again, I believe the strips were a candy red on the real cars so, I taped and painted them. Have some clean up to do due to tape not sticking well in some areas but over all doesn't look to bad for shelve model. This was taken prior to clean up and spraying clear on the body.
  12. Has anyone ever done a correct body for the 67 Dart Funny Car that the Ramchargers ran? I have been able to find is a 69 Dart Funny car. Even the old mpc kit I believe was a 70 dart which wasn't correct then.
  13. Is it me is does that look like a red door panel when you look at passenger door panel? Found this picture on facebook.
  14. I wish someone would do decals for that car.
  15. It's reported that this is a survior. Some pictures show painted white bumpers with gray grille, some show white grille with chrome bumpers? Older Pictures
  16. I am looking a building the 1970 Ramchargers Super Stock Cuda. Does anyone know what color the interior really was? It looks like from pictures I have found that it had a white interior but the dash doesn't really look white to me and why would the dash be white? I have never seen a white dash before in car. Could it have been a light gray?
  17. Just some quick pictures of my latest project. Speed City Resin body, Lindberg 64 Plymouth Chassis.
  18. Love it. When I first seen the pics it put me in mind of the vehicle in the movie "Tango and Cash".
  19. Here a shot of all 3 together.
  20. Then we have the 1970 Don Grotheer ProStock. This was built using the Sox and Martion ProStock kit. The colors were painted on using Testors Lacquer White, Testors Lacquer Hemi Orange and Scale Finished B5 Bright Blue. Decals are an Ebay purchase from a few years ago, I belive they were Billy Gooch decals. Wheels were also from Ebay from sell t.m.resin.
  21. Next 1970 Ivy Green Metallic Mod Top Hemi Cuda. Paint was from Scale Finishes and then topped with Testors Lacquer Ultra Gloss Clearcoat. Mod Top is a decal from Keith Marks, laid down beautifully.
  22. First up 1970 Lemon Twist Hemi Cuda. Paint was from Scale Finishes then cleared with Testors Lacquer Ultra Gloss Clearcoat.
  23. As suggested by Freakshow12, here is a place to post your Revell 1970 Cuda pics. I thought it was a great idea to have a plce for everyone to post and see what others are doing with the kit since some have had issues with the Revell and this kit. I myself have enjoyed building it so much that I have built 3 and working on more.
  24. Forgot to mention that the colors I used were, Testors Lacquer White, Testors Hemi Orange and Scale Finishes B5 Bright Blue Met. Not sure if colors are exact but looked to close to my eye.
