1967 Mopar B body options
jjsipes replied to Swifster's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Keep an eye out on ebay. There is a seller that goes by t.m.resin that sells the old AF/X N Scale Resin stuff. I just got a 59 Biscayne from them but they had a 64 Plymouth Wagon before. -
I ranked them in order I'd like to see. Thanks Brett.
-
Thanks Brett. I did send an e-mail to Moebius about an instruction sheet. I'll use these in the meantime.
-
Please. I can use the 53 sheet but it looks like some new parts for the 54. Thank you so much.
-
Yes it's blank on one side. Is that the way it's suppose to be?
-
Got one today. I was looking at the contents and noticed no instruction sheet part break down. Has anybody else have this issue? It has the color sheet with colors but no assembly instructions.

July 2014 I met the current owner / restorer of the original 1965 F/Stock Barracuda campaigned by the Golden Commandos. He is a great guy. I was asking him questions about his car and told him I would like to build a model of it. He asked what I would charge him for one. Didn't know what to say, never been asked to build a model before for someone. So, in the meantime I have collected various items to build said car. I started with a resin 1965 Barracuda kit from Model Car World but then I lucked into an original unmolested AMT body. Got a 1971 Duster donor kit for chassis, engine. Got "new" chrome trim from ModelHaus and started building. I have so far gotten the body painted, bare-metal foiled and started the decals. Decals have so far been from Slixx but I do have a set from Model Car World as well. Got the paint code from owner for the Bronze and ordered that from Scale Finishes. The worst thing will be the fenderwell headers. Real Car as seen at Carlisle Model Interior has been painted gold and then semi-gloss clear. I applied gold embossing powder to carpeted areas.

jjsipes replied to oldr-n-drt's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Look at Slixx's Graphic Sheets WARF on this sheet http://www.slixx.com/7118.htm?id=3961 ISH on this sheet http://www.slixx.com/7119.htm Jesel decal on this sheet http://www.slixx.com/7115.htm?id=3931 Sometimes on there graphic sheets they have split up various sponsors/names to try and avoid licensing issues I believe. -

Where are you going to get or have you gotten the Flock decals already? -
Anybody willing to add there 70 Cuda builds?

For those that might be interested, I just found a listing on Ebay for Billy Gooche decals for 1/25 scale Rod Shop Vette. Tried posting a link but laptop wouldn't let post for some reason right now. The worst thing with this will be making a hood to look right.

Not really.

I am looking for any reference picture I can find for a project I'm thinking about undertaking. I looking for engine, interior, exterior and chassis pics of any 60's Dodge Low Cab Forward trucks. Some call them CNT-900. I believe I have seen where they could have been built with either a gas of diesel engine in them. Any suggestions on engines, chassis, donor kits? I have found this web page that has some info on it but would like some more if possible. http://www.allpar.com/trucks/dodge/heavy-duty.html

Got one of these in my pile to build. Yours looks great. Thanks for sharing and getting me thinking about mine again.
-
Awesome. I can see more than a few of these in my collection.
-
Thanks for the comments. I picked the kit up not knowing what I was gonna do with it and just picked the color out and went to town on it. I think the copper color works we l with the wood.
-
Yes that was a PS color from Tamiya. If I remember correctly the primer was Tamiya White Primer.

Here's my build of Revell's 1949 Mercury Woody. Tamiya Copper Spray, dry brushed wood grain and wood grain decal (kit supplied). Custom mix enamel Tan interior with dark brown carpet. Custom grille out of REvell 1949 Mercury Coupe, wheels from Revell 1936 Ford Convertible With Flash On Without Flash On

Seeing this makes start tot think about the a 62 TBird with the chopped roof from the 53 Studebaker kit. Hmmm. Looks good.

Or go here before he closes shop for good. I've got a set myself but haven't had a chance to work on it. http://mikesscalespeedshop.com/?p=31058 For a true replica, you would need wheels, spoiler and supercharger as well. You could get a black of white version. http://images.thecarconnection.com/lrg/hurst-hemi-challenger-how-its-made_100182983_l.jpg

Awesome. Always liked to Comet that Ronnie drove be it the white or the Red white and blue versions. I did the same thing with mine using the Thunderbolt chassis and engine. Looks great.
