  1. Update? Did you get it completed?
  2. Went looking for info on interior color and was suggested to look at the dealer catalog from 1959 to what was available for colors in a Biscayne. Here's what I found. https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm-heritage-archive/vehicle-information-kits/Chevrolet/1959-Chevrolet.pdf Unless someone has photo proof, I guess grey would be the way to go. I found this on-line. Looks to be a scanned catalog and I pulled a few pages from it.
  3. Ok this is what I have to date for this build. Actual Car Model Resin from Time Machine Resin I am using the Revell 1959 Impala for a donor but the windshield to small so I have gotten a windshield from an AMT 1959 El Camino to use that seems to work, need to clean up opening yet to make sure. The rear window I am not sure how to proceed with as the Revell Impala one is too small to work. The resin body has some small issues to clean up but not to bad overall.
  4. Don Yenko even got his hands on them to make a Yenko Stinger Vega.
  5. Hope we get some new decals for these? I know Cady and Slixx has decals for the Grump 65 Winternationals Winner and Slixx has Shirley Shahan decals. But would love to see some of the others. Ken Montgomery, Jack Werst, Butch Leal
  6. You may be "late" in your words but after decaling the body, it was placed aside and I haven't done much more to it. Thanks for sharing though. I need to get back to this along with alot of others that I have painted but not been able to assemble.
  7. Thanks. The air cleaner decal came in the kit.
  8. Has it really been that long since I worked on this? Back on this one soon as well as the 56 300 from Moebius
  9. Thanks guys. And as far as the paint goes, that is straight out of the can, no polishing. Couldn't be happier with the paint results out of the can.
  10. Just finished up my first for 2016 that actually started back in 2015. Must say this is a very nice kit. Moebius has hit the ball out of the park with there automotive offerings. Went together great. Not fitment issues. Moebius kit #1215 Paint - Body - Tamiya White Primer, Tamiya TS-49 Bright Red and Model Master High Gloss lacquer clear. Interior - Model Master lacquer Italian Red and Flame Red with Tamiya Semi-Gloss Clear Wheels and Tires - Revel 1932 Ford Torqs with AMT Parts Pack Redlines Let me know what ya' ll think.
  11. She's finished up other than the final clean up. Will posting pictures in "Under Glass" soon.
  12. Thanks for the comments. Plan on finishing this week since work is a little slow right now.
  13. Nope just sprayed the Red and Clear straight out of the can.
  14. Started final assembly today. Had to see what it looked like with tire and wheel choice. Love the love it has. Wheels are Revell 1932 Ford Torqs with spokes painted Testors Jet Exhaust. Tires are AMT Redlines.

  16. Just went ahead and took a few minutes to snap a few quick pictures of progress. Just used Testors Tropical Turquoise on engine, wasn't sure what to really use but I thought it looked close.
  17. Making some progress finally. Hope to have some updated pics soon.
  18. Use the dual overhead cam 426 out of the 70 Superbee that the hi-rise intake came from for something different.
  19. What would be the appropriate primer color for the underside of the floor pans? The instructions show red but is that because of the Red body color or did Pontiac use the RedOxide primer?
  20. Sean Svendsen has photos on his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/svensworldofwheels/timeline of pictures of the prototype model. Have to say it looks awesome. Can not wait to get my hands on this.
  21. Got my first one in the mail and have to say that it appears to be a great kit. I knew what I was going to do with mine before I got it. Ronnie Sox drove one back in 1961 and it's a beautiful looking car. http://myfox8.com/2013/11/08/rare-61-pontiac-at-greensboro-auction-has-local-ties/
  22. By the way Great Looking Model. Have been collecting items to do this build myself.
  23. Here's a picture from Facebook page "Dandy Dick Landy - Tribute to A Legend" that claims it's from 1974 Gatornationals. I guess the best thingto do would be to ask Robert Landy to see what he knows. Also Geoff Stunkard is working on a book titled "Landy's Dodges" that should be available in 2016 that should have info about this car one way or another.
  24. Thanks guys. The paint job isn't to bad for not being polished out
