  7. Yes I did. Hadn't had a chance until Saturday night. Thanks
  8. Has anybody posted a tutorial on how to get a proper ride height for a Revell Funny Car? I have looked some but couldn't find it if someone had. Any help out there?
  9. It was at the closet one to me last Saturday. That store is in Hanover, PA. They had the Rat Roaster, the 1.16 Petty Charger, the polar lights funny cars and a few other new items but this store didn't have the Fireball Roberts 57 Ford though where others talk about there store having it. As a side note I did notice a sticker on the shelf for the AMT Grumpy's Toy 66 Nova for when they decide to release it.
  10. Was there ever a kit or resin done of the 1963 Corvette customized by George Barris called the "Asteroid"? I see Corvettes at Carlise is having there at there show along with the Pininfarina Rondine Corvette concept. The Asteroid is pretty cool looking, I like it. 11. I can't remember what the diecast were that I used to see in my favorite hobby shop but, I do remember some of the Sun Star deicast looking like a boomarang. They arched up in the middle, looked like the nose and rears were sagging. Maisto had some like this too, Welly was the worst of the arched diecast. I seen the 60 Plymouths and 59 Dodges up at the Chrysler Carlisle show this year and was very impressed with them. Haven't bought any 1/18 scale diecast for a while but I may have to buy these. I like the look of there 59 Oldsmobiles too.
  12. Great looking Barracuda. I have always loved this body style Barracuda. Alot of people prefer the E-Body Cuda over this style but not me. Love it. Great paint job.
  13. Karl, I do have that issue of Elapsed Times and that has me thinking more about this car. Thanks for your input. I already have the decals and am just looking for the most accurate body to place them on.
  14. Can somebody point me in the right direction. I am looking for the best source of resin body/kit to make the last funny car campaigned by the Ramchargers. I was looking at the Revellition kit kit but the body isn't quite correct for it. Then I found a 75'77 Dart.Volare resin bidy that looked close but I am not sure.
  15. I was thinking about doing the Landy Hauler and the Sox and Martin Hauler as well. Yours looks great. Keep up the great work.
  16. I am working on the Trumpeter 1960 Pontiac Bonneville kit. I am looking to see if the picture I found was for the Bonneville interior or for another Pontiac model. Did they offer a tri-color green interior for the Bonneville in 1960 as depicted in the following picture? If so, does anybody have any other pictures of a green interior for the 1960 Bonneville? Looking at doing something other than red or blue for interiors and found this picture and liked it because it was different. I am looking at building the kit as a stock piece.
  17. Just started working on mine alittle. Kudos to Trumpeter for the seperate chrome side trim but I'm glad I decided to glue it in place prior to prepping for paint. It's quite a bear to get off the chrome tree and cleaned up to glue in place. Need to be very careful with the glue as well.
  18. Here's a link to Steve Milberry's build that in in the Under Glass section. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15158&hl=volare Here's another as well. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26191&hl=volare
  19. What I bought was here in the U.S. and it says to clean up with water so I assume its acrylic.
  20. Since you can no longer find the Tamiya Clear Spray cans, I decided to purchase a couple of bottles of Tamiya X-22 Clear to try and airbrush it. Has anybody used this before? Looks thin enough to spray without thinning but does it need thinning? I have never tried airbrushing Tamiya paints before so help suggestion or comments are welcomed. Thanks in advance.
  21. Gotta love a Mopar. Beautiful model. Wish I had that in my collection.
  22. As long as the racing is good it doesn't matter how fast they go. This BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH of follow the leader isn't racing.
  23. That's one nice looking bird. Great job
