I have this same kit I'm working on but I can't decide if I want to use the chrome suspension or paint it black. Also your giving it extra lift? I odn't think I've seen the way they sit stock. Any imput on that... I really want it to look lifted and not be hovering over the tires if that's what it does.

OKie dokie... here is my advice... STAY AWAY FROM ACER... I mean seriously.. they are over priced.. have nothing in them .. and are just crappy machines.. Dell.. is okay but somewhat overpriced if you buy them when they are not onsale.. HP great machines.. and always having random sales.. mine is just plain awesome and cost less than any other on this list and is better than any other I priced.. compared to a dell of = performance and features it was 1/3 the price... and as for toshiba it was about 1/2 the price.. but note, I got it onsale.. Toshiba are cool .. I know a lot of people that have them and they are nice from what I can see.. just research them.. one of their lines SUCK.. they are seriously like a prehistoric laptop.. TISK TISK on cutting corners... seeing as compaq/hp are somewhat the same (from what I've heard..) then it may be okay but I have NEVER.. EVER...EVER EVER EVER seen a decent compaq.. maybe if you have it built up.. in my opinion the only thing worse is an ACER LOL.. oh and this sounds like I'm biased towards HP .. well I'm not.. I love dell a lot.. but when it comes down to it.. for the price.. an HP is better.. if I had the money to waste I would have gotten a dell.. just for what I paid would have gotten me a crappy dell

I'm not meaning to sound bad about it (i couldn't have done 1/16th as good) but the fresh shiny chrome parts throw me off.. Mainly the antenna it sticks out too much with everything else being weathered. But then again maybe he had to put a new one on it so he could listen to some tunes as he was cruisin

Lol hiding from the wife. I bought a used laptop once in the past and inside the case I found hidden.. "protection" I busted up laughing and emailed the guy saying "i think you forgot something" He got really embarassed and that's the last i heard of him hahaha... got a good deal on the laptop though it was practically brand new. (I had an issue multiquoting) but about the guy thinking he was buying a 1:1 hood for his car... that's priceless!!!! LOL

Yeah he is really great to watch. I have seen all 3 and have watched a lot on youtube and I relly enjoy his skits. I even watched one of them earlier with my gf and parents and we were all rolling .. it defiantly has a decent "replay" value, I laugh everytime.

I live in the bootheel of Missouri and I was curious of if there are any clubs/meets around here or somewhere close... If not is anyone else on here from around here who would like to try to get people together? I'm not too great at models... I don't paint very well.. i end up making glue bombs.. but I'm trying to learn/do better.. which is what is most important right!? Well I was just hoping to find something.. just to see stuff first hand and maybe learn some things! I would love to learn things and see works or hear of builds.. stories.. you name it! this stuff just really interests me.. I've never seen a meet or anything like that and hearing you guys talking about them makes me jealous!

sadly I don't have any little shops.. or even ay shops that are for models.. there is a hobby lobby over an hour away that has models but I just wish there was a actual hobby shop with more models and stuff... instead of 20 isles of fake flowers and 1/3 of the store full of flower pots etc. Idk if all hobby lobby's are like that but it's literally 100% woman crafts and one small spot that has models in it.. and no RC stuff

I'm having to buld her a bug....Thanks Zukiholic for supplying me the kit!!! it's her dream 1:1 car that she is supposed to be getting for her 16th birthday (which I am lovingly willing to drive it the 3- 1/2 hours home for her...after driving the 3 1/2 hours to get to it...) uggh and to think she's an ex.. but I love her to death and we're working on things.. haha hopefully we find a decent bug closer to home... But anyways I like your bug build..lol she loved the hubcap being off, we thought it was a detail you did on purpose.. now hopefully she wont see this post and get onto me heh heh

Nice smoker. Pro circ. pipe?, not a bad choice but a little tip would be (if it's legal in your racing?) cut off maybe 2 inches of the silencer and then refit the cap back on as if it were new.. I'd love to put my banshee motor in one of those.. I'd be having a lot of fun.. lol

A 2001 ford taurus SES that has been the most unreliable car I have ever seen... trans went out.... trans replaced... Idle pully went out.. replaced... tension pully replaced.... tendion arm snapped...replaced... also replaced the idle pully again.. and a belt.. then the car over heated... pressure cap malfuncioned and the ressy busted... $60 for a plastic tank to hold coolant? GOOD GREIF! ... cap also replaced... then the car over heated.. thermostat replaced.. battery replaced... altenator is screwed up.. wiring nightmare.. dash lights havnt worked for a couple years... the blinker lights constantly stay lit up instead of dash lights... (so I have a couple blue LEDs for the dash light)... the dome light works...sometimes.. transmission is slipping again.. after a seal busted and was fixed an refilled before it even drained.. but it is now slipping again.. great.. everytime i pull out of a parking lot shifting from 1st - 2nd laggs and I leave screeching the tires as if i were P/oed.... waterpump is supposedly bad .. new one sitting in my car... freeze plug came out.. so it has tto be put in before coolant added... oh and apparently the temp sensor is also malfunctioning since i will only get a cold.. or a normal warm reading when really if i pop the hood it starts boiling over... nice... just what i need.. another cracked tank... OH... and the head is supposedly cracked or just a blown gasket.... yet if i go out right now and turn the key over it will start right up .... just to mock me... I'm about ready to take it out and run it hard until it locks up and never runs again... (zukiholic now you see why I'm hoping that dodge ram deal works out for me... hhahahaha and when i was still able to drive it i was literally only getting like 12mpg... so at least the dodge would be a strong runner.. )
