Hey fellas I been rolling this idea around in my head I want to build either a shop or a pit area for the 1/16th scale ProMod Im currently building. I have no idea if I can even get supplys for such a build , like tools equipment etc... Is there a website that sells stuff? Can anyone help to steer me in the right direction? And if you have a pit area or shop dio youd like to show here in this thread please feel free to do so...

Dont make me cry Bart but seriously go finish checkin that build out it got really good , I went back through it yesturday and I almost changed my mind about getting rid of it. But like you said I had to get from under that one cause I realized I wasnt gonna get back to it. I just didnt have it in me anymore. I have a rule for building "Dont stop till its done" cause if I do stop I'll never pick it back up. I have a couple builds 15 and 20 years old that never made it back to the bench.

Yeah dave showed how he makes tires in one of his builds about a year ago .

Hey Dave Im definately gonna have to get a coulpe sets of those carbs both styles, just keep me up on when they will be ready for purchase.

Hey fellas I just noticed theres really nowhere to get 1/16 scale carbs or maybe I just dont know where to look. Im starting to get supplys for my next build (which will be a 1/16th ProMod on the bottle) so I need carbs preferably Holley or Demon Double pumps. does anyone know where to get some or will I be forced to scratch build some? Dont make me do it.......you know I'll do it!!

Job well done Darryl I like the dio but why would you park a brand new ProMod out back to get all dirty LOL!

TRD/Shapeways is the better stuff , its a little more expesive but it is more accurate, I just purchased the 1/16th 69 Camaro ProMod Body from them. Costly?? yes ,...Worth it?? we'll see when it gets here.....But i will say that the other things i have purchased from them was well worth the money i spent. Whereas most of the parts i purchased from Flashpoint went un-used.

I still plan on the original paint plan ,....but who knows? Alot of things have changed and they are ever changing. We'll see what happens.

this build is simply outstanding , but I dont care how many mufflers you put on this thing , someboby at the country club is bound to here the whine of that blower when he pulls up LOL! keep up the good work Don!

Hey Boys the body is availible for purchase at the TDR/Shapeways site. https://sites.google.com/site/tdrinnovations/ now the 1/16th scale body is pricey at about $169.00 before shipping and if youre planning on getting the 1/8th scale body you better have your pennys saved up cause that baby aint cheap. I'll let you see that one for yourself .....I'll be buying the 1/16th later this week.
