  5. Charlie : sure man we can crank out 1000 more as long as my delivery date can be in the year 2112 LOL! John : they are really small huh....imaging me trying to solder these things ,... now imagine me pulling my hair out with each one LOL! 7. you never stop amazing me!
  8. Well today it was back to the drawing board for me. the picture dave provided proved invaluable. and it showed me another way to do my window frames. this will be the last set I do, as this one will be correct once finished. anyway on with the update. I had to make tabs for the window to attach to,... talk about some tedious soldering! but it had to be done. I started by drilling some holes in thin brass with a #61 drill bit then I cut my tabs around the holes this is the size of the tabs I had to solder onto the piece of wire used as the frame. the soldering starts ok I think I can live with this.....but i still have some details to add..... I hope you enjoyed this update. Thx again Dave for all your advice thoughout the project.
  9. Thank you Dave I always appreciate your knowlage on these subjects you always seem to help nug me in the right direction.
  10. Hey Jim the parts that stick out will eventually be mounts for the tabs that hold the window to the frame I made them long so I can cut them to the preciese size so the window will be held at te correct distance from the frame.
  11. you gonna make me step my game up huh Bart ok then this ones for you baby! After reviewing the window frame and seeing that i had no excuse for not doing it correctly (other than being lazy and trying to rush) I decieded that Bart is correct if im gonna do it,... it should be done right. So I went back to the drawing board to design a more accurate window support. Heres what I came up with. started witha piece of brass wire shaped to the window next step was to soldermore wire onto the the frame (thx for the extra work Bart ) lol no really thank you After cutting I have this still have some filing and clean up to do.... heres the partially done frame on the door ..... not done yet some of these will be removed for proper spacing. so stay tunned for more to come...I hope you enjoyed
  12. Very nice my friend , cant wait to see more.
  13. I'll try to answer these questions to the best of my ability ., the rod is about 2mm square I got the rod from a bag of bits and pieces they sell at the local hobby store. I used a #61 drill bit to drill the holes , I got the rivets from Scale Hardware the part number is RIVT-07-S comes in a bag of 100 these are 0.7mm a scale 1 inch. As for a website I dont have any website you can visit but if you ask the right question here on the forums you will get an answer. There are lots of knowlagable builders here that would be more than happy to help you out. Thanks for you compliments Make and I hope I was able to help a lil.
  14. well fellas I got the window frames made and installed on the doors . The frames are made from brass (like most of the car) and they have been drilled to accept the riviets that will hold the windows on. Also I cut the door handles down to a more scale size. not much more to explaine so I hope you enjoy. Thx fellas for the many compliments. Started with a square piece of brass tube. soldered to make this This small piece of wire supports the window frame and also makes it possible to adjust the angle of the frame as needed. finished frame drilled for window rivets Heres the frame attached to the door , And no the frame isnt supposed to fit snuggly in the door, its just a support for the window. Hope you enjoyed see ya real soon, yall come back now ya hear!
  15. nicely done!

Great job on the motor and all the fab work tranny looks great too. one question looks like the drive shaft will be at an angle to connect to the rear axle tranny seems to be sitting just a lil on the high side, or is that just picture perseption.
