  6. Sorry jeff I dont think i got your PM I accidently erased a bunch of my PM's a lil while back, And go ahead and put that roll cage in your vette it'll stiffen up your chassis and make that car perform better.
  7. Thats a really good question Mike, I used the scale model as a design tool for my 1:1 so as i went along I was able to see what worked and what would not work for the 1:1 build, yes ideas changed along the way but I found a happy medium. And now all i have to do is make the big one look like the little one. Thanks for your comment! Romell

  21. Its not a problem Jim misunderstandings happen, whats important is we got it straightened out. Yes as a builder the shifter and the shift linkage are seperate parts.(where im from anyway)
  22. you asked: "Where did you get the linkages for on the tranny?" Jim you asked about the Linkage in the first quote, The linkage is from a MCG kit (model car garage).... the second quote ask me about the shifter itself, which i did scratch build. there is a differance between a shifter and a linkage.
  23. Yeah Bro Ive been a HotRodder all my life I love this stuff man!! scale and 1:1 thanks for your compliment my friend.
  24. Um jim I think maybe you have me confussed with someone eles, I carved the handle from scrap plastic and the acual shift lever is a piece of stainless piano wire. The finger pull is made from a staple. i dont know of any kits with those kind of parts in them. Just a miss understanding no problem. Its"scratch built" just go back and check the build it all in there.
  25. Hey i went out and cut the hole in the trunk for the fuel cell here are some progress pics... Here you can see how the cell just sits on the floor of the trunk.... hole cut and the cell is in place...... look at that Ford 9 inch Beautiful!! just beautiful....
