  1. Mike, I like those. Nice colors and paint on there.
  2. Nice ride, Mike! Lucky you.
  3. Yes, often, no chrome looks good on these builds.
  4. Thanks, Keith. I know a couple of people . . . hum . . . Seriously, I gotta go one of these fine days. I always enjoy so much of the stuff that I see on the videos that goes on at SEMA.
  5. Wow, you got it laid out. Looking like you are off to a good start with all those parts.
  6. Beautiful job, Rob. Nice weathering throughout. Almost a junker, but it still drives daily. Nice. EYEGORE is happy, Doctor Cranky's proud.
  7. And it takes place in VEGAS! Is it open to the public, or is it industry people only? I would imagine they probably have it open for EVERYBODY, right? Has anyone gone?
  8. For all those interested in checking out the Iwata Airbrush (if you've been considering it), here's an hour long video you can sit back and enjoy.
  9. From the looks of this video, it must have been a heck of a show. Great eye candy everywhere, and loads of new products.
  10. Shane, I just got this from Mr. Fraser: "I'm doing well, thankyou. I no longer work with Airbrush Action Magazine, but you can still read my articles in Streetrucks, Airbrush Step-by-Step, and Pinstriping, & Kustom Graphics. The future of airbrush education is CoastAirbrushTv.com. It is what I have been working on the most lately." It's the magazine's loss for sure, but then again, there will be some cool videos at CoastAirbrusTv.com. Best, DC
  11. Aha, Eelco, your infamous avatar. Great to see it in larger pics and details. I like the paint and graphics.
  12. Thanks, John. Jim, yes, I like the feeling of the gloss in the blood, but then I go through a couple of periods of civil strife between the rust and the gloss.
  13. Wow, the details on this beauty are spectacular. Love the dashboard.
  14. I have to confess I am thoroughly enjoying this thread, not only because of the conversation, but because it is a civil conversation. THANK YOU.
  15. I think these nostalgia gassers lend themselves really well for creating some of the most fun you can have as a model builder. Just my opinion, but one that''s been forming quickly as I continue to build a few more of these.
  16. That would be something, wouldn't it, Chuck.
  17. Looking forward to them, Steven G.
  18. I hope you bring back some pictures from today's show, Donn. Break a leg, buddy.
  19. That chassis looks real good. The body is coming along. Keep it going, please.
  20. I like what you have so far. "Obnoxious" = what colors? Loud, bright? Looking forward to it.
  21. Wow, amazing transformation. Nice work.
  22. Justin, that sounds like a great tips fro small cuts. I think they started using the stuff in the Viet Nam war, although I could be wrong about that. We all have to learn to live with Murphy at the bench, but if you feed him Scrapple Sandwiches, he will often leave you alone. Now, seriously, you learn over time how to keep Murphy at bay as best as possible. But then again, just when you think he's gone for good, he comes back to remind you. The other day I had primered a part with acrylic primer, then forgot about it and shot some HOK paint over it, and just sat there watching the plastic craze. That had not happened to me in years, but so it goes. When you model, you have to be alert, and you have to be concentrated on the task at hand.
  23. Wow, you guys are building up a storm. Shawn, great work on the rust. Very good splatters too. Good rusting. Shane, wonderful Hummer. It's coming along. Joe, that chassis looks very good, and the engine has lots of wonderful details. Keep it, going, everyone. I copied several pictures from each builder to the next Video Upload archive.
  24. Great kit, have fun with it!
  25. Here's Rick Hainline (Ranma)
