  1. Thank you, Tom and Jeff. I am quickly making progress into the second. Getting some greens mixed and then we'll see what we do with the powders.
  2. Beautiful!
  3. Looking good. That tower is going to add the perfect touch of realism.
  4. I like this diorama, and the tire swing is the perfect crowning touch! Great job, Brett. Thanks for the eye candy.
  5. I like the Paasche H for all the reasons Donn mentions, but for detail work I also like my Iwata Eclipse.
  6. Looking good, I hope you keep it going. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Robert and Ken, some new exciting work on the bench. Keep it going. I copied the photos to the video archive. Thank you.
  8. There's another 3-Day weekend coming up in May, so there'll be plenty of time to prepare for it. I want to thank all the folks who participated and who added a new model to their collections. Cheers, DC
  9. Thanks, Bart, for a minute you had me worried some rust had shown through . . . HA!
  10. Tony, you are right, you can't go wrong with Maguiar's.
  11. Thank you, Don, for the very informative review. My Iwatas, like the Eclipse, have always felt tip heavy, but it's something you get used to and come to like.
  12. I love my Opti Visor! Some tools get better with age!
  13. Jonathan, that's a great question. I usually set the tripod about 8-12 inches away from the model. That seems to work well for me. Roger, that model is gorgeous, and yes it is very difficult to tell it's not real.
  14. When I did a Google Search for "Carnie Vehicle" this is what came up:
  15. Love the idea, Roger. For some reason I think it would probably work with the 66 Nova kit. Use 2 kits and you could probably get close. I also think the 57 Chevy would work too. If anybody can pull this off, it will be you. Can't wait to see how you get this one done, it promises to provide us with many weeks of pure eye candy.
  16. Nope, I just ordered a whole bunch of the sheets. They are going to be around until they sell out their stock.
  17. Beautiful model, great job. I love it.
  18. Of course, we have our very own Chuck Most in the house (one of my favorite Rat Rod builders out there). Hope he doesn't mind I'm singing his praise here in public! For more of Chuck Most's exciting work, you can click here: http://public.fotki.com/ChuckMost/rat-alley/tin-worm/72384a7d.html
  19. Tell me about it, me too. There are lots of cool builds out there, we just have to keep looking and bringing them here.
  20. Man, you got a lot of mud on this build. I'm excited about seeing the results. Keep it going.
  21. Gary, that kit makes me wish it was out already. Nice job.
  22. I find it impossible too, but I end up doing "mild" box stocks every once in a while.
  23. Thanks for that wonderful example of barbed wire, Shawn. Looks great.
  24. Nice Ford pick up truck. Congrats.
  25. Shannon "Mopar Lady," who is a heck of an amazing builder. Yes, THE GOTH ROD:
