  1. Oh man, I love that blue. That's a great color.
  2. I built two of these back when they were first released, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed them. Your build triggered some great feelings again.
  3. I mask and airbrush carefully, but sometimes you are not going to be able to see any of the roof, but the sides yes. You can also upholster the roof for a bit of extra detailing.
  4. I just want more cool subjects (new tools or not) to keep coming to the stores . . . I love me some vans!
  5. Wow, that thing has the potential to becoming a monster. Nice.
  6. You can also start by looking into some books . . . Like Pat Covert's, Ken Hamilton's, Terry Jessie, Bill Coulter, and a few others, including (if I may plug it!) Doctor Cranky's book. It's all good, as they say . . .
  7. I came back to this one because I really do think it deserves a Tip of the Month tip of the hat!
  8. These are all cool subjects . . . .
  9. Excellent execution. All the details are wonderful. Amazing work. Thanks for sharing it.
  10. Very cool, and I can't wait for the kit to get released.
  11. It's like magic. AMAZING! You have a great ability to replicate what you see in real life in scale, John. It's a gift, that's for sure. Another beautiful build added to your collection.
  12. It could also double as a beautiful speed boat.
  13. That siren would be a wonderful touch.
  14. Geez, suddenly, I have not one, two, or three, BUT FOUR hot rods going . . . all 32s and 34s. What is wrong with me?
  15. You'll be glad you did. The book is filled with great projects and ideas, and more importantly your model cars and photographs will thank you you did.
  16. That looks like another great product, Mark.
  17. LOL! Yes, lots of running back and forth from the LHS, that's what it all means. Suddenly I wished these testors paints would come in larger quantities. But I guess the bright side is you have to plan each paintjob and then the fun is in searching for just the right colors. Or blending your own.
  18. It sounds very interesting. Hope you can share some eye candy with us soon.
  19. Good luck today, buddy, and hope you recover pronto. Our best wishes go out to you today.
  20. I really like the work you are putting into this build. Very nice.
  21. That looks pretty cool!
  22. I'd have to convince EYEGORE to do it! LOL!
