  1. I love the idea!
  2. Love it, great model to do realistic flames on! Congrats.
  3. I agree with you, Bart, I am hoping the new kits will be at the highest standard.
  4. Those are super cool, and super detailed. Great job on both counts. Congrats.
  5. Suddenly, this one is my favorite. Great job. And yes, you can never have too many kits if you are a STYRENE ADDICT! LOL, I mean Styrene Junkie!
  6. AMT 1950 Chevy Pick Up REV 1932 Ford REV 1950 Ford REV 1941 Wyllis REV 1955 Chevy Belair I would say those are definitely in my top five.
  7. Walther's Goo is a wonderful glue for holding parts together during mocking . . .
  8. Go for it, Doug. My only concern was with the needle packing and lacquer paints, but I would imagine it will hold up well, perhaps like the regular Iwatas.
  9. John, I'd love to see how you do our paint in progress, the SBS of how you do it.
  10. I like the paint job, buddy. It's looking good. You are going to end up with a very unique model. Keep it going.
  11. Thanks, Tony. I should be hitting the bench shortly. Lots to do still on this build.
  12. Cool, it looks like the setting for a futuristic vehicle or a post apocalypse build! Nice!
  13. Wow, wonderful. I love the flat black look!
  14. You know what I am going to say, right? LONG LIVE RUST!
  15. That's a nice built model. Love those rear panels.
  16. I'm choose Mach 5 . . . I've never liked the Batman mobiles, not even in real life:
  17. I think one grows as a builder (like Chuck suggested) by taking the lemons and turning them into lemonade!
  18. Joe, I like the top idea! Thanks, buddy.
  19. Thanks, Adam. Send it our way when you can.
  20. That snake skin graphic looks simple at first, but it is very tedious as you have to go fogging around the edges of everything. That takes time. I love it though. Thanks for sharing. And for invoking the Good Doctor's name in Styrene!
  21. LOL! It's all in the smoke! I can see how this ride could be painful, but let's see what it looks like by the end.
  22. I will preface my comment here by saying that my number 1 favorite kit is the AMT 50 CHEVY PICK UP. Now that you know that, I can tell you that most of my disappointment with kits have been, in general, all AMT kits . . . the early Fords and some 50s Chevys. I don't know, and I ain't blaming those kits . . . maybe it's been all my fault in that I have very little patience with ill-fitting kits . . .
  23. I think this is going to help us all go MODEL T CRAZY! I love it!
  24. Yes, it does . . . at least it will be a different model in the collection . . . Tomorrow I plan on making another push for the finish line, which I hope is this weekend.
