  1. Harry, good find. Geez, there's a place that has it for 18.95. That's a good deal. But shipping costs can often almost go as high as the kit, so beware. Shop smart and be happy!
  2. Love it, great job!
  3. Great detailing . . . looking good, you are almost at the finishing line!
  4. Thanks, buddy. Yes, it makes me (and EYEGORE) very happy!
  5. I am hoping someone (Slixx Decals?) will put out a version of these decals.
  6. Rob, I thought about that, but I don't want to just sit back and watch! I want to build too! The frenzy of energy that goes around, comes around! Says EYEGORE! He's like the YODA of the Lab-RAT-ory these days! Cheers, DC
  7. Thanks, Niko! Greetings to all the friends in Vantaa!
  8. Meticulous work pays off in great details. Keep it going. Where's our daily dose of eye candy? Eh? LOL!
  9. The temptation is always too great:
  10. I just had to share this as I continue to do some research on colors and body styles, etc . . . all good possibilities for this kit: LONG LIVE RUST!
  11. Another winner! Congrats. Keep feeding us eye-candy, you know we appreciate it! Cheers.
  12. Harold, with weathering you can go from mild to wild in one fell swoop of the airbrush or rattlecan. Subtle is always better! Also, the little details go a long ways . . . a torn seat, oily engine, some dust, some rust streaks . . . etc., etc., etc., just have fun and enjoy the process.
  13. I like it. It looks good in black!
  14. Love it! I think you've got all the right levels of RUST in your blood! Keep up the eye-candy, you are good at it!
  15. That's a great resource. And you can get some amazing colors that way too, but the fear for me is to run out when you most need it or want it. Your results are fabulous. Always.
  16. What you haven't noticed is you've started to wear off your fingertips!
  17. Oooh, you know this is going to be a great thread . . . I love the ideas here already. Keep 'em coming!
  18. Thanks, everyone. Yes, you know, it's not like I'm making a big deal about a kit that didn't exist until now! LOL! FEED YOUR STYRENE HABBIT with more, more, MORE STYRENE!!!
  19. Yes, including cigar-toting Bill Hines! Mr. Lead Slinger himself! One of many Lab-RAT-ory Heroes:
  20. Full Metal Jacket, what a great movie. Should watch again soon one of these days!
  21. Looking real good, keep it going.
  22. And wait, I built one more, to this: A lot of sleepless nights, sure, but why sleep? LOL!
  23. Well, Tom, me too. I am tempted to go crazy looking for ways to customize it, but the honest truth is I like to build the thing pretty much box stock before I start experimenting just to learn my way around the kit . . . so far so good. I still remember what happened to me at the beginning of this year with the Revell '55 Belaire kit: I went from this: to this: to this: to this: to this:
  24. For those who like moving pictures (heh-heh-heh!), here's a little video I hope you enjoy . . .
